The festival of Neptune, the ruler of the seas and oceans, is a favorite and traditional holiday in modern health camps. The opportunity to spend more time in the water, swim, play and have fun pleases all the children, even those who do not yet know how to swim. The most important thing is to celebrate Neptune's day in the camp so that everyone would have fun, joyful and fervently.
Preparation for the holiday
When preparing the fun, you should remember that a surprise should await the children, so everything needs to be organized secretly. First you have to clean the shore of the reservoir from snags, glass and other debris. Next, you need to decorate the ship of Neptune, which can be built from an ordinary boat or raft. To make Neptune's day in the camp fun, you can make a real throne on an impromptu ship. For the king himself, he will have to sew a costume from the remains of the fabric, decorating it with grass or reeds, as well as make the famous trident and crown. Of course, you should take care of the costumes for the retinue of the sea lord: mermaids and pirates. Here you can also use the remains of fabric, mud and reed.
Neptune Day: The Scenario
In the camp on this day everyone will need to gather on the shore. With provocative music, children are waiting for the arrival of the main guest of the holiday, the ruler of the seas and oceans - the formidable Neptune. And on the painted boat, the lord of the seas with his retinue approaches the shore. Neptune descends to the ground, tapping his trident, sighs and frowns, complaining of boredom. Mermaids offer to perform a dance, and in the end, the king’s mood improves, and the host asks Neptune to organize a holiday, taking on the role of a judge. Vladyka reads the order and offers to begin the triumph. The further scenario includes various funny contests and competitions in which children of all groups take part.
The game "Avral"
Two teams take part in the fun. Children depart to a conditional mark, where one of the mermaids is standing, and begin to swim. At the signal, both teams must run out of the water and quickly build on the shore. The team that will be able to quickly build in the appointed place wins on Neptune’s day at the camp.
The game "Fisherman"
Participants enter the water, forming a wide circle. A pirate comes into the center, holding a ball fixed on a twine in his hands. At the signal, the leader begins to spin the ball over the players' heads. The task of the team is to dodge the ball by plunging into the water. For each error, the team is awarded a penalty point. Then other players are invited. The team that earns less points in this contest wins on Neptune’s day in the camp.
Game "Throwing grenades"
In this competition, teams are invited to swim a certain water line, holding a grenade in one hand. The task must be completed by all players on the team. The winner is the team that can bring the most dry grenades.
Neptune Day at the children's camp ends with a debriefing, handing the winners letters and souvenirs. At the end, Neptune leaves the triumph on his ship with his retinue.
