Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University (NGPU) is one of the largest universities in the region, providing high-quality humanitarian education. The history of the university began in 1935. From that time to the present day, the university annually graduates qualified specialists in the field of pedagogy.
History of University
The history of the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University began in 1935, when only 4 faculties of the Pedagogical Evening Institute were opened. Among them were the Faculty of History, Literary, Mathematical and Natural. The first issue consisted of just over 100 people. In 1939, for the first time, a little less than 500 students were enrolled in the correspondence department. Just 2 years later, a full-time department was opened. In 1945, a department for the study of foreign languages ​​was opened, including English and German. In 1993, the institute receives university status.
Faculties of Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University
The structure of the educational institution includes 10 institutes, among which:

In addition, the structure of the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University includes 4 faculties:

Educational programs
To date, Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University offers more than 120 educational programs for teaching bachelors, more than 50 programs for training specialists. As well as master's programs and areas of postgraduate training.

For admission to the undergraduate programs of the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, applicants must submit a set of documents within the normative period indicated by the NGPU. In addition, it is necessary to fulfill the condition for minimum scores. For example, to submit documents for the direction “Information Technologies in Education”, you need to score at least 42 points in computer science, 40 points in Russian and 30 points in mathematics. To submit documents for the “Personnel Management” program, you need to score at least 36 points in Russian, 42 points in social studies, 27 points in mathematics.
To become a student of one of the master's programs, an applicant must successfully pass the entrance exam, conducted directly by the university.
Passing points for admission to NGPU
For successful enrollment in the budget places of the Transport direction, the applicant had to overcome the threshold of 138 points for the sum of three unified state exams. In 2018, the university received 30 budget places in this direction. For admission on a paid basis, almost the same number of points was required - 135. At the same time, the number of places was allocated only 10. The cost of training is 49,000 rubles per year.
For admission to the direction “Economics” it was required to overcome the threshold of 150 points. Budget and paid places are allocated in the same amount, for each basis of training, 20. The cost is 55,000 rubles per year. In order to be credited to the budget place of the “Special Psychology” direction, the applicant needed to overcome the threshold of 160 points. For the paid department, the passing score was 115. There were 36 budget places and paid 24. The cost of training is 50,000 rubles.
