Kafir or kafir is an Islamic concept, it is intended to refer to a person who performs kufr. In turn, kufr represents disbelief in Allah, a denial of the existence of the prophet Muhammad, the Last Judgment, heaven and hell.
Kufr: detailed information
It is because of this kufr that people acquire kafir status. In total, there are exactly 55 sins in Islam. Only some of them are considered kufr. So, if a person turned to a fortuneteller, then this is just the case.
All kufras are divided into several main parts:
- Juhudi - implies faith in one God (Allah), but the denial of all his words.
- Incari, or belief in a different religion, i.e., denial of Allah.
- Nifaki is a lie about faith in Allah.
- Inadi - when faith is denied precisely by words. Moreover, faith in Allah exists in the heart.
Faith in Islam is the most important part of religion. Therefore, a person who professes Islam must show it with all his heart, as well as with words. Otherwise - an introduction to infidels.
Types of infidels
Kafir is who? An enemy for Muslims? Not all infidels are considered opponents. Muslims today divide all of these unbelievers into several types:
- Al-zimmi is an unbeliever who follows all the laws of Sharia and must pay a tax on life.
- Al-Mustaman is a kafir who is protected by a Muslim.
- Al-Muahid is a person living in a kafir country, which is at peace with Islamic states.
- Al-Harbiy is an enemy, a kafir who fights with Muslims.
Kafir is not always an adversary. Muslims treat them differently. But they are all sure that such people after death will face darkness, fire and much suffering.
The place of infidels in Islam
Al-zimmi are kafirs who have historically appeared in Muslim countries. In the 7th century, due to the accession of other lands to the Arab caliphate , people professing other religions appeared in the country. More often these were Jews or Christians. To keep them under control, they introduced a tax. Only children, old people and women could not pay this tribute . However, they were obliged to observe sharia. Therefore, Muslims were peaceful towards such infidels. Today, al-Zimmi is very small. After all, their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren have long spoken the local language, profess Islam.
Despite the fact that al-Muahid and al-Mustaman are not enemies for Muslims, some of them are hostile to these infidels. Often they are harmed. Sometimes it can even get to the murder. Although Allah in the Holy Book asks all Muslims to treat infidels with patience. But there are Islamic schools and movements that otherwise, in their own way, explain his words and requests, while practicing violence against unbelievers.
Some historical facts
Kafirs are people who have existed since the founding of Islam. They rarely got along with Muslims. So there were jihads that forced to believe in Allah by force. But among the infidels were those who persuaded Muslims to a different faith.
A little later, unbelievers captured by Muslims were required to pay tribute. The word "kafir" is even an insult to all who believe in Allah. Especially in the Middle Ages. Even today, many Muslims are easily enraged by this word.
It takes only a little knowledge to understand who kafir is. The meaning of the word is quite simple. This is a person who does not believe that Allah exists.
