Sleep on my stomach
From what Muslims cannot, some things look especially amazing. For example, this applies to the taboo prohibiting sleep on the stomach. According to the Qur'an, this action can liken people to the inhabitants of the underworld.
This prohibition applies to both men and women. Some hadiths claim that the Messenger of Allah appeared to the Prophet when he was sleeping on his stomach, saying that Allah hates if they are in this position.
The faithful Muslim must sleep with his face turned to the main shrine of Mecca - the Forbidden Mosque. In this case, the gaze should be fixed on Qibla. This is the direction to this religious building, which can be installed with high accuracy from anywhere in the world.
Ideally, you need to sleep in the fetal position on the right side. Allegedly, Muhammad himself slept like that, bending his legs in his knees, and placing his right palm under his cheek.
New Year
Another ban is associated with the celebration of the New Year. Recently, there are more and more followers of Islam who explain to youth why Muslims should not celebrate this holiday.
The fact is that there is no information about him in the Qur'an. Therefore, it is believed that his celebration is directly contrary to Muslim rules. Many other secular public holidays common in Russia also fall under the ban. This is International Women's Day, Defender of the Fatherland Day, other red dates on the calendar.
Instead, followers of Islam are invited to celebrate only those holidays that are mentioned in the Qur'an. Explaining why Muslims should not celebrate the New Year, believers emphasize that in this case a person becomes an inferior believer.
Of course, this approach is not yet widespread; only a certain group of adherents of Islam exists. Most of the habit still celebrates the New Year, considering it a family holiday.
Gold and silk
The Qur'an expressly states that Allah encourages everything that is capable of externally adorning a Muslim. But there are two exceptions. These are things that a woman is allowed to use, but is strictly forbidden to a man - silk and gold.
It is worthwhile to understand why Muslims should not wear gold jewelry. An associate of Muhammad Ali claimed that the Prophet raised these two things in his hands, proclaiming that he declared them permitted only for women.
Moreover, a case is known when Muhammad, noticing a golden ring on the hand of one of his associates, took it off and sharply threw it aside. Stating that this is a piece of hell, which can in no way be relied upon.
As a result, in the modern world, things that are impossible for Muslims include gold pens, cufflinks, watches and any other items containing this metal. The ban on pure silk clothes and gold jewelry is comparable in importance to the taboo on alcohol.
In marriage, a man is advised to wear a silver jewelry as an engagement ring.
Alcohol
From what Muslims cannot do, the taboo on drinking alcohol is considered one of the most famous and strict in this religion.
Muhammad repeatedly reminded his co-religionists of the complete ban on wine. The Prophet tabooed him, as alcohol becomes the cause of many evil and unpleasant actions. At the same time, it is necessary to curse not only the person who drinks himself, but also anyone related to this addiction, for example, the seller.
The Qur'an notes that, as a punishment for consuming wine, the guilty were beaten with bare palm branches. It was the fault of the Prophet that saw the cause of all evil, so anyone who drinks it faces severe punishment.
Food bans
Followers of Islam have many dietary restrictions. From what Muslims cannot, it is well known about the ban on pork, as well as poultry meat and any predatory animals.
The rest of the animals is allowed only if it was not killed by a club or electric shock. To kill an animal, which is then allowed to be eaten, you need to stab it and say praise to Allah.
Moreover, in this taboo there is an important reservation. It is believed that a person is not guilty and should not be punished if he ate an incorrectly killed animal solely because of his ignorance. In such a situation, he is completely exempted from liability.

Female body
Islam is a conservative and patriarchal religion. For example, it is strictly forbidden to look at the female body, with the exception of the hands and face. That is why many Muslim women prefer such closed dresses.
Exceptions are made for wife, sister, daughter and mother. Followers of Islam are allowed to look only at a woman who is dressed in spacious clothing that does not stick to the body, completely covering it.
If a woman is wearing a suit adjacent to her body, it is forbidden to look at her, even without lust.
The most severe ban is associated with the contemplation of underwear, if at the same time the man begins to become excited and he has sinful thoughts.
Unclean animals
In Islam, dogs are considered unclean animals. Few know that Muslims cannot keep them at home. Any contact should be prohibited with them. It is believed that the dog is able to desecrate food, clothing and the person himself by his presence alone.
After such a desecration, the faithful must undergo a rite of purification.
Because of this, you cannot buy a dog, but if you need it for business, such as protecting livestock or hunting, you can still keep it.
At the same time, Sharia allows you to have a cat at home. It is said that the Prophet himself loved these animals. A legend is circulated about how once he cut off the hem of his dress so as not to disturb a sleeping cat.
But keeping most other pets at home is not recommended. For example, useless rodents (hamsters, chinchillas), which are turned on solely for entertainment.
Usury
If among the Jews the profession of money-lender was very widespread, then the Koran directly forbids Muslims from engaging in this trade. To borrow or lend money at interest is another taboo. It does not matter what the purpose of the loan or indicators for which interest is accrued.
It is noteworthy that in this situation, not only the moneylender himself is considered a sinner, but also the person who borrowed on these terms, as well as anyone who was involved in the transaction. For example, a witness of a debt receipt.
An exception exists in this case. But only if the person pushes to take money at a percentage of hopelessness. In such a situation, the debtor is relieved of responsibility, and all the blame falls on the shoulders of the creditor.
It is worth emphasizing that in the modern world a Muslim can take out a loan from a bank only if it is justified by a real need, and not by a desire to improve his own well-being. The size of the loan should not exceed the amount required to solve the problem. In addition, a person must first make every possible effort to get out of a difficult situation in any other way.
