Kolyadnik (amulet): meaning and photo

In ancient times, the Slavic people worshiped many gods, among whom was Lada - the Virgin, the patroness of all women. From an early age, people were under the protection of the gods, and charms served as a link. Such, for example, as the cross of the goddess Lada Ladinets and Kolyadnik - a talisman whose meaning is difficult to express in monosyllables. The influence of Kolyadnik extended primarily to men, but in some cases women also needed his help.

Wearing the amulet Kolyadnik obliged the representatives of the stronger sex to honor their family, defend their honor, freedom and traditions, be ready at any moment to defend their native land.

Kolyadniki preserved the meaning
In the swastika symbolism of the ancient Slavs, according to information that has survived to this day, there is a force capable of transforming the existing order of things, if necessary for the revival of the culture of their ancestors.

The ancient Slavs believed that the warlike and wise god Kolyada, whom modern public figures would rather call a great diplomat than a pagan idol, patronized the amulet. Kolyada owned the art of persuasion and could negotiate with anyone. He also understood that a word could hurt no worse than a sharpened sword and skillfully “maneuvered”, holding the line between peace talks and bloodshed.

Kolyadnik is a charm symbolizing fateful and positive changes in fate, the inevitable victory of Good over Evil, and a rebirth to a new life. The amulet, the ancients believed, changes fate immediately, from the very moment it was donned, and the power of Kolyadnik’s action depends on the faith of the carrier person, provided that the life of the owner of the amulet is aimed at creation. The ancient Slavs believed that boys should wear this amulet as an attribute of a real man from the moment of birth.

The main functions of the Carol

Although Kolyadnik was considered a truly masculine charm, the fairer sex also sometimes used its power. There were also moments in the lives of women when they needed to be decisive and persistent, especially in anticipation of important life changes. Change is a natural phenomenon, but for the wheel of Fate to rotate in the right direction, the Slavs often needed helpers, which were amulets for them, among the main functions of which was the materialization of human desires.

The main postulate of worldly prudence

Kolyadnik, turning behind the Sun, washes away from his carrier the gloom and bitterness of failure, giving it the qualities of a winner. The power of the talisman draws from God Kolyada (hence its name comes from - the Carol-talisman). The meaning of the symbol is so universal that it is difficult to name a specific sphere of its influence. It is only known that warriors often turned to the power contained in the amulet.

Slavic amulet Kolyadnik meaning

God Kolyada was also depicted as a warrior with a lowered sword (a sign of reconciliation). It was in reconciliation, the ancient Slavs believed, that the main postulate of worldly prudence lies. The ability to avoid bloodshed, to force each side to find mutual benefit - all these qualities, as well as the ability not to stop there, inherent in diplomats, were not less in demand in those days than today.

Distinctive features of Kolyadnik

The pedigree was conducted among the Slavs along the male line, so great attention was paid to raising boys. From childhood, they learned the lessons of courage, determination and dexterity. Every year, the boys became smarter, more experienced and stronger, increasing generic wisdom and strength. Kolyadnik, being also a symbol of masculinity, accompanied the boy ... boy ... man throughout his life.

Whatever goal the amulet carrier set for himself, success was guaranteed to him, because Kolyadnik, the amulet, the significance of which is almost forgotten today, was considered a very powerful energy talisman and assistant in any business. Slavic men wore a talisman from early childhood, and Kolyadnik, like a magnet, attracted good luck and fearlessness to them, restored and multiplied male power.

Ladin and kolyadnik preserved the meaning

Modern society provides representatives of a strong half of humanity with complete freedom of choice, the results of which depend on how their male essence will develop. The influence of the ancient Slavic charms does not extend to a man who has chosen homosexuality, even if his goals and aspirations are aimed exclusively at the good of his own kind.

Charm Ladinets

The donor of love and female happiness, Lada shared with her wards a piece of her energy, enclosed in Ladin - a female protective amulet. Ladinets was the guardian of the woman’s family happiness and contributed to her spiritual development.

Ladinets protected not only married women. Girls wore it at the age of three (children under three years old, protected other amulets) and received protection from negativity and magical attacks on the fragile children's psyche. So they grew, grew prettier and knew their feminine essence, and when their time came, the energy contained in the amulet helped everyone to attract the man who was most suitable for her.

How Ladinets "Works"

Ladinets consists of eight rays directed against the movement of the solar disk - a symbolic reflection of the connection between the consciousness of the bearer of the amulet and Navu - the world of ancestors. The energy cycle created by eight rays could break out if it were not restrained by the circle. Limited by the circle, the energy of the Lada gives a constant nourishment to the bearer of the amulet.

What did Ladinets give to its carrier? The unconditional intercession of the mother of the gods served as the key to a harmonious relationship with her husband, unfading beauty, peace, female health and happiness.

If the female Ladin amulet is turned over, then we get the male Slavic amulet Kolyadnik, the value of which is difficult to overestimate.

The power of two talismans

Often it happened like this: Slavic warriors had to combine the power of two charms - male and female. Being folded together, they became the source of a powerful energy vortex, which was compared to a chariot of fire, leveling the earth with all the obstacles that stand in its way. On the eve of the fateful event, the soldiers hung both amulets at the head of their bed for the whole night, and in the morning they woke up full of energy, ready to administer justice.

Ladinets and Kolyadnik (the amulet, the meaning of which is described above), folded together, symbolized a married couple or "heavenly family."
