Yuri Ochochinsky - a representative of the ancient noble family of the Walberg-Ochochinsky. Grandmother served as a maid of honor with the wife of Nicholas II, Alexandra Fedorovna. Great-grandfather was a famous painter and favorite artist of A.S. Pushkin himself. Grandmother’s brother is the founder of Russian ballet. During the years of repression, almost all family members were shot, only Natalya Ivanovna von Valberg, the grandmother of our hero, survived by a miracle. He was born in April 1958 (who wants to congratulate his beloved artist on his birthday is worth doing this on the 20th). The future famous Russian singer from childhood had a good, sensitive hearing and loved to sing. From the age of five he sang in a children's boy’s choir, and by the age of eight he had already played on the same stage with professional actors of the young royal page in the play “Dog in the Hay” based on the play by Lope de Vega.
His grandmother was engaged in his education and upbringing: she took Yura to the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, taught her to understand and feel classical music, instilled a taste for the beautiful and the real.

After graduating from school, Yuri Ochochinsky in the same year enters LGITMIK - Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography, acting department. Having successfully completed his mastery of the profession, he has been working in the theater of the ensemble "Singing Guitars" for two years. The young artist is busy starring in a musical and rock opera.
Since 1983, he decides to start a solo career and does it with success. His first song, “We're not parting,” instantly “shoots out” and becomes a hit sounding from all the windows.
