Fritters on sour cream - a recipe for cooking

In search of a new delicious dessert, pay attention to such a simple and relevant dish as pancakes on sour cream. The recipe can be divided into two parts: the base and the additions. To get started, try pure pancakes to see if you like their taste or not, and then experiment with additives. You are sure to find your option, or maybe even a few.

We start the dough

To cook pancakes on sour cream, the recipe of which we are analyzing, you need to take 2 eggs, 1 cup (250 g.) Sour cream, 150 gr. flour, 100-150 gr. sugar or powdered sugar, baking soda.

Separate the whites from the yolks. Rub the latter with sugar until a thick, homogeneous mixture with a whitish tint is obtained. The better the sugar dissolves, the more magnificent the pancakes will be. That is why sugar can be replaced with powdered sugar - it dissolves much faster and does not leave grains.

Insert sour cream into the crushed yolks, mix well, add flour and knead again. Now whisk the squirrels into a steep foam. Add baking soda to them. Enter the resulting protein mass into the dough. Mix everything carefully so that the dough turns out to be lush and breathable. Let it stand for 5-7 minutes, after which you can start baking.

How to fry

Decide how you want to see your pancakes on sour cream. The recipe provides two ways to bake. Traditionally, you can fry the pancakes in a hot pan in vegetable oil. Then they will turn out to be fatter, since the soda in the dough will increase the amount of absorbed fat.

And you can make a diet dish if you bake pancakes in the oven. To do this, make a slightly thicker dough. Spread it on a baking sheet greased with a thin layer of oil with a spoon at a distance of 2-3 cm. One from the other. The temperature of the oven should be moderate so that the pancakes do not burn. The total baking time will be 10-15 minutes per serving.

In a pan, it is better to fry over moderate heat. Pour oil so that the pancakes are immersed in it to half. Here you need to get used to and find the optimum temperature for frying so that the pancakes have time to brown, fry inside and not burn. To avoid burning and wet dough inside, pour them with thin cakes, about 0.5-1 cm, since during the frying process they will increase in volume by 3-4 times. Too low a fire will cause the pancakes to absorb a large amount of fat and will be heavy.

We tried the usual option, now you can dream up and improve our pancakes on sour cream. Recipe correction is very simple. It is enough to add some berries to the finished dough. It can be fresh berries of currant, lingonberry, strawberry. They are added whole, when frying they give juice and fritters are very colorful, with different taste shades. You can use dried fruits, previously soaked and chopped. But personally, I like it, and I recommend everyone to try making pancakes with bananas. It is recommended to serve them hot, but even a little later they will retain their appearance and taste. Since this is a sweet dish, you can also serve it with any sweet or milk sauce, or ordinary jam, jam, confiture , etc.
