How to get dressed in school?

Many modern mothers and fathers have still found compulsory school uniforms in brown or dark blue. For them, there was no question of how to dress beautifully in school, although, of course, everyone was as sophisticated as they could, trying to stand out even in details. Fortunately, times have changed, and modern students have much more freedom in choosing school clothes. And now, from a very young age, they are faced with the question of how to dress for school.

Junior classes

If we talk about elementary school students, it will be most correct to answer that dressing must be comfortable, restrained and beautiful at the same time. Even if the school does not have an established form, it is better from the very childhood to accustom children to a modest and business style in clothes. This does not mean at all that you need to force the children to wear classic suits, but dark jeans and a discreet raglan for a boy and the same jeans or a raglan skirt for a girl will look quite organically in the school walls. Do not think that school clothes should be dull and gloomy! If there are no established restrictions, it is quite possible to include outfits of saturated colors and shades, both plain and with a variety of geometric patterns (cage, strip, rhombuses), decorated with small embroideries and appliqués, in the wardrobe. The main thing is to remember moderation and the fact that bright T-shirts with the image of your favorite characters (from movies, comics and cartoons), shiny and witty outfits are not the best choice for the school. As for fabrics, it is optimal for school clothes to be made from natural materials (cotton, wool, linen), but fabrics with synthetics are acceptable for jackets, trousers, and sundresses.

In the lower grades, children still listen to the opinions of their parents, who help them understand how to dress properly in school. However, the older students become, the more influence classmates, friends, and the environment as a whole begin to exert.

Middle and high school

In adolescence, clothing is given a lot of attention. The question of how to dress for school is becoming very relevant. Indeed, in school, adolescents spend most of their time, and I really want to look not a gray mouse, but a bright and extraordinary personality. Especially meticulously choose outfits are girls who, as you know, grow up somewhat earlier than boys, and therefore already in the middle classes they begin to carefully approach the question of how to dress for school. As a matter of fact, the “recipe” remains the same as before - the clothes should be stylish, restrained and as close as possible to the business style. For boys, these are the same trousers or jeans combined with shirts, golfs, raglanes, vests, sweatshirts and jackets. For girls, the choice is much wider: sundresses, dresses, skirts, trousers and jeans with golfs, blouses, raglans, sweaters and vests.

It must be remembered that overly frank and extravagant clothes do not contribute too much to the educational process and can even distract other students. You don’t need to go far for an example: a pretty classmate in a tight-fitting super-mini who solves a problem at the blackboard is unlikely to inspire the male half of the class for mathematical exploits. But it's not only that. It’s just very good from an early age to learn how to choose clothes that are appropriate for the occasion - this will save you from the annoying mistakes and misunderstandings associated with the inappropriate choice of attire for a particular event. And besides, it’s very useful for teenagers to understand that not only trendy, but also restrained clothes in a business style can be beautiful - this will be very useful for them in the future and will help to look stylish and organic in any situation.

If the school has a uniform

If the school has a uniform, it would seem that the question of how to dress for the school should not arise - everything has already been decided for the students. However, the school uniform does not save from the desire to stand out and look beautiful and stylish. Therefore, it makes sense to beat the form with a variety of accessories permitted by the school charter (belts, ties, hairpins, scarves). If the school uniform is a sarafan (skirt) in combination with a jacket, unusual blouses, bright (but not flashy) raglans and tights, as well as other important little things, will give variety to it.
