We form and bake bagels
It’s time for filling. In the middle, closer to the base of each triangle, lay out a teaspoon (with a hill) of filling - jam, jam or grated berries. The lower corners of the triangle need to be bent to the middle, and then roll our shapes into bagels, firmly pressing the dough. Make sure that the filling does not peek out, otherwise during the baking process, the jam may leak out.

How to make a yeast shortcake dough?
To get started, we will prepare all the necessary components:
- 3-3.5 cups flour;
- 250 grams of margarine for baking or butter;
- 120-130 ml of milk at room temperature;
- a large spoon of sugar;
- 25 grams of yeast (fresh);
- egg.
In a separate bowl, mix the yeast with sugar and rub it thoroughly. Gradually add warm milk. Beat with a whisk until smooth. On a cutting board we chop the flour with butter so that we get small crumbs. Add the egg, mix well. Now we combine both mixtures into one, knead the dough and roll it into a lump. It must be covered with a lid / cling film and removed for an hour in a cold place. In the meantime, let's get stuffed.
What's inside?
We have already decided that our cookies will be with nuts. Choose any to your taste. Walnuts, hazelnuts or peanuts are best. These nuts have a fairly pronounced taste, which is what we need. The amount depends on whether you like a lot of toppings, or a little. About 1-1.5 cups will take our dough amount. Nuts need to be fried in advance and chopped using a blender or rolling pin.
We also need two egg whites, a pinch of salt and a glass of sugar. First, whip the proteins with salt. Then add nuts and sugar. So the filling is ready. If desired, raisins, dried apricots and any other dried fruits can be added to the nuts. Believe me, such a combination will not disappoint you.
Final stage
