Among fans of vintage perfumes, there is an opinion that Fahrenheit is the second men's fragrance from the famous house. This is not so, its predecessor was Jules, which only experts in the world of aromas have recently remembered. It was released back in 1980. Eight years after its creation, the designers of the perfume line of the fashion house presented a new truly masculine fragrance - Dior Fahrenheit.
The authorship of Fahrenheit toilet water belongs to the most talented perfumers - Maurice Roger and Jean-Louis Sesac. The owners of the Dior house set a task for them to create a fragrance that will win the hearts of both men and their beautiful ladies. What they managed in just two months, creating a “flaming” cocktail of quintessence of strong nature.
The first flower male composition
It seems that perfumers, creating Dior Fahrenheit, set out to shock gentlemen. Roger and Cézac based this legendary fragrance on a floral bouquet, surrounding it with woody and musky groups.
In the first acquaintance with the aroma, the smells of hawthorn, bergamot and its citrus "brothers", mandarin, chamomile, lavender, white cedar and nutmeg are clearly audible . And it is impossible to understand what prevails - refreshing notes of citrus or spicy echoes of musk.
The fragrance is revealed very quickly, enveloping its owner with a complex bouquet of lily of the valley, honeysuckle, cloves, jasmine, violet leaves and lily of the valley. The composition of the heart is clad in the shell of the sound of sandalwood and seasoned with nutmeg. In 2009, Dior's home fragrance designers presented men with the new Dior Fahrenheit Absolute. This is not so much an updated fragrance due to the need, it is the flip side of a classic perfume. He carries with him on a spicy hot night, he is for those men who are not afraid to show their essence. Oriental notes are closely intertwined with woody aromas. Unlike its predecessor, the notes of wood fire are in the lead in it, displacing the classic floral-citrus composition.
In addition to the Absolute, perfumers in 2011 release the opposite scent - Dior Aqua Fahrenheit. This is an explosion of ocean water at the time of the eruption of the volcano, this is a man at the time of the peak of passionate, almost animal love. Aroma designers again returned to the classic combination of citrus, woody and floral notes, but significantly changed its components. Italian boot citruses lead in the top notes, the heart of the composition is woven from basil, violet and blue mint. In memory of the beloved, a true man will remain notes of Haiti's vetiver and skin.
Both fragrances won the favor of critics and success with the public, becoming a worthy continuation of Dior Fahrenheit.
