History reference
This educational institution has its own history. Dneprodzerzhinsk State Technical University was founded back in 1920 as the Kamensky Polytechnic Worker. Later it was renamed into a technical school, and then into an evening metallurgical institute.
In 1935, his graduate was the future Secretary General of the USSR, a native of Dneprodzerzhinsk - L. I. Brezhnev.
At that time, students were studying the basics of metallurgical specialties relevant to this industrial area. In the 60s, the university was reorganized twice, and acquired its modern status in 1994.
University structure and communications
Dneprodzerzhinsk State Technical University has a fourth level of accreditation. Its structure includes six faculties of different directions and postgraduate study in 15 areas. There are also two colleges (economic and commercial), where you can acquire one or another applied specialty.
