All-glass partitions vs frame structures: differences and methods of application

Glass dividers in modern interiors are used in all their diversity and, without a doubt, extremely successfully. And, which is typical, approximately in equal parts in terms of their popularity there are both frame and frameless arrays. Of course, both materials use the same materials in practice, though in a slightly different visual presentation, they all serve the same practical purposes, and their properties are almost identical. But at the same time, all-glass partitions and frame designs have a number of cardinal differences among themselves, their aesthetic effects vary diametrically, and practical possibilities are more than individual.

How do all-glass partitions distribute loads?

The preference for a particular type of glass dividers is based largely on current load distribution requirements. In fact, wire-frame variants carry pressure evenly, transferring it from the canvas to the frame. This is what determines their stability and reliability even in the case of using very thickened, or even double, paintings, the ability to aggregate with opaque finishing details. In the production of all-glass partitions, everything, of course, is not so. The visual requirement for the equipment of solid transparent walls, with virtually no visible or very inconspicuous fasteners, necessitates the installation of all-glass partitions with a complete absence of vertical frame elements, and horizontal ones often in this case are something completely miniature, located at certain points. And such fasteners, of course, and the load is distributed pointwise, not allowing to significantly increase the weight of the paintings and their sizes.

The solution of practical problems with the installation of all-glass partitions

Given the above, it may be the wrong impression that the purchase of all-glass partitions can serve exclusively decorative tasks, being unstable and unreliable in nature. This is far from the case, because the modern production of profiles from super-strong and durable materials allows even such structures to successfully play their part in the interior, providing it with a decent analogue to the main wall, and the glass itself is no worse in quality than those that used in wireframe analogues.
