Sponge cake is a special kind of sweet dessert pastry mixed in beaten eggs. It is characterized by lightness, airiness, delicate taste. The biscuit itself is a separate dish. But on its basis, you can cook other goodies, for example, biscuit cookies or biscuit cake. It depends on the imagination of the cook what kind of biscuit it will be, what delicious additives it will diversify. A chocolate biscuit recipe is one of the options for such creativity. It is clear that chocolate will be added to the biscuit dough. How is biscuit dough prepared ?

To prepare it, you will need the following products: eggs (4 pieces), sugar (1 glass), sour cream (1 glass), butter (250 g), flour (one and a half glasses), cocoa powder (half a glass), soda (1 teaspoon) , salt (half a teaspoon of tea).

And now - a quick biscuit recipe . The oil softens in a warm place. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Beat the yolks separately and the whites separately until foam is formed. Soft butter is also whipped with sugar. This must be done until the butter turns white and the sugar dissolves. Then pour the beaten eggs into the whipped oil, continuously mixing. We put sour cream there and continue to whisk actively. In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients of the dough: flour, cocoa powder, soda and salt. A chocolate biscuit recipe completes the preparation of the test by combining a dry flour mixture with butter and sour cream.

The finished dough must be laid out in a mold greased with butter, and placed in a preheated oven. Bake until cooked, about forty minutes. It is poured into a greased form and baked until cooked in a preheated oven (optimal temperature is 180 degrees). When baking, the dough rises and its volume increases approximately twice. This must be taken into account when choosing a form, its depth.

To decorate the biscuit, prepare a coconut cream. Mix one can of condensed milk, two egg yolks, 100 g of coconut flakes and two tablespoons of butter and simmer over low heat until thickened. Cream cool. You can decorate the biscuit with cream only on top, or you can cut the pastries into two crumpets, grease each cream and combine. You will get a biscuit cake, but you can cut it into separate cakes and decorate them with pieces of chocolate or candy, fruits or berries - the culinary art is not limited to anything.
