Homemade pastries fill the apartment with a special aroma and create a cozy atmosphere. But, unfortunately, not all modern housewives have the opportunity to regularly indulge their relatives with their own hand-made cakes, and they have to be content with store-like counterparts. Especially for them, today's publication contains simple and quick recipes for carrot-curd pies, the reproduction of which does not take much time.
With almond flour
This fragrant and very healthy pastry has a rich orange tint that attracts the attention of small sweet tooth. In its composition, the smack of carrots is practically not identified, which means that those who do not like this product will eat it with pleasure. To personally verify the veracity of this statement, you will need:
- 350 g of grated carrots.
- 100 g of cottage cheese.
- 120 g of almond flour.
- 120 g cane sugar.
- 100 g of ordinary wheat flour.
- 70 g of good butter.
- 4 eggs.
- 1 tsp baking powder.
- The zest of orange.
This carrot-curd cake is prepared in several stages. In a deep container combine eggs and chopped orange peel. All this is supplemented with grated carrots, mashed cottage cheese and melted butter, and then beat. The resulting mass is mixed with bulk ingredients and transferred to a greased high form. Bake the product at 175 ° C for an hour.
With semolina
This mouth-watering and hearty enough carrot-curd cake will be a great addition to morning tea. To bake it you will need:
- 250 ml of kefir of any fat content.
- 500 g of cottage cheese.
- 1 cup cane sugar.
- 1 incomplete cup of semolina.
- 4 eggs.
- 4 juicy carrots.
- Vanillin.
To start making dough, which will become the basis for the future carrot-curd cake, you need to process semolina. It is poured into a voluminous bowl, poured with kefir and left a little less than half an hour. At the next stage, the swollen mass is combined with grated carrots and cottage cheese, mashed with the addition of eggs and sugar. All this is flavored with vanilla, whipped with a mixer and poured into a high refractory form. The product is baked at 180-190 0 C until cooked, which will not be difficult to check with a conventional toothpick.
With oatmeal
This tender carrot cake with curd cream will be a great alternative to purchased cakes. To bake it specifically for a family holiday, you have to store:
- 100 ml fat-free kefir.
- 200 g of carrots.
- 1 egg
- ½ lemon (juice and zest).
- ½ tsp soda.
- 50 g of oat and whole grain flour.
- Vanillin, cinnamon and any sweetener.
To prepare the cream, you will have to additionally buy:
- 100 ml of natural non-flavored yogurt.
- 100 g fat-free cottage cheese.
- Any sweetener, vanilla, and peanuts.
Washed carrots are baked in foil, and then turned into mashed potatoes and combined with egg and kefir. All the remaining components are introduced into the resulting mass, including soda diluted with a small amount of boiling water. The dough prepared in this way is poured into a high refractory form and baked at 180 0 C for 40-50 minutes. After the specified time, the browned cake is completely cooled, cut and spread with a cream consisting of yogurt, cottage cheese, sweetener and vanillin. Sprinkle the top of the product with crushed peanuts.
With oatmeal
This carrot-curd cake is interesting in that it does not contain a single gram of ordinary flour. Its role is given to more useful oatmeal, which gives the finished product an indescribable taste. To verify this from personal experience, you will need:
- 100 ml of kefir.
- 200 g of cottage cheese.
- 200 g of raw carrots.
- 150 g of oatmeal.
- 50 g of nuts.
- 2 eggs.
- 4 tbsp. l cane sugar.
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder.
- ½ tsp soda.
The peeled, washed and grated carrots are combined with ground oatmeal, sugar and cinnamon. All this is supplemented with soda, eggs, cottage cheese and kefir, and then thoroughly stirred, not forgetting to add crushed nuts, and poured into a high shape. Bake a cake at 175 ° C for 40-50 minutes.
