College Annals
The history of GBOUU Kamensk-Ural Pedagogical College began in the last century. In the mid-70s, a unit of the Sverdlovsk Music and Pedagogical School No. 2 was opened in a small provincial town. The educational institution began to function independently since 1980, after another 4 years, in addition to music teachers, teachers began to prepare elementary school teachers.
The school was renamed Kamensk-Ural Pedagogical College in the mid-90s. According to vocational education programs (with extended training), students received advanced training. Then new specialties appeared: “Mathematics”, “Russian Language and Literature”, “Foreign Language”. Later, other areas of preparation were added.
For more than forty years, the college has trained many teachers, educators, social specialists.

The college administration works a lot with applicants. Every month, every 3rd Saturday, at 14 o’clock, open door days are held for students in grades 8-11.
The children are told about the teachers, about everyday work and extracurricular activities of students, about the possibilities of admission and the school’s working hours. Prospective students receive answers to questions of interest to them, for example, according to the schedule of correspondence students of the Kamensk-Ural Pedagogical College.
