A chocolate dessert with a bright aroma of almonds, a delicate creamy layer and sour berries is a truly refined, unusual treat that will certainly conquer any sweet tooth. In addition, a cake with cranberries in sugar is quite easy to prepare and under the power of every housewife who wants to surprise her family.

To prepare the basics, you will need:

  • 2 cups of wheat flour;
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder;
  • 0.5 cup almond flour;
  • a teaspoon of soda;
  • half as much salt;
  • the same amount of cardamom and allspice;
  • a glass of cocoa powder;
  • twice as much sugar;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla essence;
  • a glass of yogurt;
  • 0.5 cups of vegetable oil.

For the cream you will need:

  • 0.5 kg of butter;
  • 6 glasses of powdered sugar;
  • 2 tablespoons of almond liquor;
  • as much milk;
  • half the amount of vanilla extract;
  • a teaspoon of salt;
  • the same amount of vanilla extract.

To make cranberries in sugar, prepare:

  • 2 glasses of berries;
  • 0.5 teaspoon cardamom;
  • one and a half glasses of sugar.

Step 1. First of all, you need to prepare the filling for the future cake - cranberries in sugar. To do this, in a saucepan, combine half the prepared sugar with the same amount of water. Heat the mixture, stirring constantly, until all the crystals have dissolved.

Step 2. Pour the washed cranberries into a large container and pour the prepared syrup. Leave the berries as they are for an hour.
