In Soviet times, a professional holiday was approved , which everyone knows today - Miner's Day. Now that the Soviet Union no longer exists, it continues to be celebrated on the last August Sunday in countries such as Kazakhstan, Ukraine and, of course, Russia.
history of the holiday
In 1935, on an August night from 30 to 31, A. Stakhanov, a mine worker, set an all-time record. The miner was able to mine 102 tons of coal, while seven tons was considered the norm. From this began a movement called "Stakhanovsky."
Only 12 years later, in 1947, A. Zasyadko and D. Onik (ministers of the coal industry) filed a petition for the approval of the new holiday. The first celebration of Miner's Day was held in 1948, on August 29.
Since then, Miner's Day has been celebrated every year. Coal industry workers are congratulated not only by relatives and friends, but also by officials. In many cities, Miner Day is a major event. Concerts are held in the central squares, fireworks flash in the sky at night. This day is celebrated differently, but we would like to offer you one version of the party that can be held at school. After all, children also need to learn more about this difficult profession.
The beginning of the holiday
Not a single holiday is complete without leaders. They can be dressed in classic costumes, or they can embody any thematic characters. In this article, we talk about how to celebrate Miner's Day. The scenario that we offer you involves the presence of two leading Coals (U) and Spark (O).
At the beginning, a voice behind the scenes reads a solemn poem congratulating all the miners on their professional holiday. After that, the presenters enter the scene.
W: Glad to meet you guys! Let's get acquainted - everyone calls me a funny coal!
A: Hello! And me - Twinkle. With Coal we are best friends. When we are together, we bring comfort and warmth to every home.
W: All of you, of course, know that today is a holiday - Miner's Day. Therefore, we want to devote this warm summer day to these courageous people!
A: It’s interesting, but do you guys know what qualities a man’s character must have in order for him to become a real professional, a mine worker?
Children should name these qualities. In order to continue to celebrate Miner’s Day, the script suggests that the presenters put on stage those who give the correct answers. For example, a strong, courageous, healthy, honest, efficient, responsible, etc.
Dance competition
W: Now on the stage is our future, hope and support of our country.
A: But most importantly, a real man, a miner, must be a reliable and faithful friend. That’s what we’ll try to learn today while we celebrate Miner’s Day. The program of our event is designed for two teams. Therefore, split up, select captains and come up with names.
W: Our country needs healthy and strong youth. Are we all like that here? The main thing is to lead a healthy lifestyle, not to smoke and not to abuse alcohol. Our ancestors knew how to lead a healthy lifestyle, let's try to learn from them?
A: Why do you think ancient people had very good health? They constantly and moved a lot. After all, each of you knows the expression - "movement - life"?
W: Exactly! Therefore, now we will all actively move to music in a modern rhythm. In addition to excellent health, this will give us a lot of positive emotions!
After that, any dance-based competition can be held.
Competition of the strong
It doesn’t matter how many children came to celebrate Miner’s Day, the holiday scenario should contain as many fun contests as possible, which will be aimed specifically at ensuring that children love a healthy lifestyle.
A: Well, since we decided today to turn to history and talk about a healthy lifestyle, we need to choose the strongest and most courageous guys.
Competition of strongmen can be held in different ways. Each team can choose one representative who will fight in arm wrestling, tug of war , etc. You can hold a knockout competition for all team members. You decide.
Mining Relays
W: All miners value team spirit! We need to learn to trust our friends and comrades. Therefore, now we will hold the baton with you.
The relay can be held alone, or several. Options depend only on your imagination. You can carry it out in several stages. At the first, the participant, wearing a miner's mask, will make his way through the tunnel, at the second - he will jump to the chair in the bag and, sitting on it, will shout “Change is over”, and then he will return in the same way and pass the baton to the other participant. You can just run from start to finish and back in a gas mask. You can divide the teams into trinity - two will have to run to the finish line and back with a third in their hands and pass the baton to the next three.
Sing together
Of course, this is a professional holiday for serious men - Miner's Day. The scenario of the event should be drawn up so that the children are imbued with the spirit of courage and danger of this profession. However, no holiday is complete without songs.
Each team is given a song text that it will perform in karaoke. You can ask the audience to sing along to the participants. The theme of the songs should correspond to the spirit of the holiday. For example, let one team sing the folk song “Harness, the horses of the horses”, and the other - “Katyusha”.
After that, you can end the holiday, or you can supplement it with other fun contests, a general feast or a disco.
