The birth of a future star
The real name of the future Ciel star is Lee Che Rin. She was born on February 26, 1991 in the city of Seoul, from which, however, she soon left, since her father got a new job. So she traveled the world after her father, a physicist, by the age of thirteen she had traveled half the world. But Li Che spent most of her time in England, Paris and Japan, which is why she perfectly mastered English, French and Japanese, while Korean almost did not know.
Again, she returned to her native South Korea as a 15-year-old teenager and with a clearly defined goal - she wanted to become an idol who could win the whole world with her talent. To do this, in 2006 she underwent a difficult selection and became a YG agency trainer, where she worked hard, honing her vocals, rap and dance skills, learned Korean and practiced acting. The result of this fruitful work was her debut in 2007 at the SBS Music Awards.
Beginning of the CL creative career in group 2NE1
After the debut, the Korean singer CL worked tirelessly, which was not in vain. Thanks to her zeal and talent, in 2008 she was able to win the favor of a demanding audience by performing a vivid rap part in the song of DJ singer Um Chung Hwa. However, Che Rin could not remain a solo artist, as the head of the company decided to make her the leader of the new female group 2NE1, which was to become an analogue of the male group Big Bang.
