After several successful years of playing with a new band, the drummer left because he had bad habits and a love of heroin. It was heroin that killed the musician in the late 2000s.

After leaving Gar, the team was left without half the composition. At this time, many were heard about the group, as two debut albums were successfully sold out. Most musicians wanted to join a popular band. By 1990, the team was able to find a suitable drummer in the person of Nick Ments and guitarist Marty Friedman.
