Model MS-1085 was sold back in 2011. The novelty immediately attracted the attention of consumers and began to gain popularity. After all, few manufacturers could offer a type 2.1 system with a power of 46 W and for some 1,500-1800 rubles. The Sven MS-1085 trifonics set is still selling pretty well, albeit at a different price, but still. Moreover, the "old man" is quite able to compete not only with existing models from competitors, but also with many new products. Let's look at this set of speakers in more detail.

Sven MS-1085 speakers are shipped in a medium sized cardboard box. On the package are indicated some features of acoustics, specification and image of the entire system assembly. Inside the box, the user will be able to find 2 satellites, a subwoofer with a wired control panel, a warranty card, a user manual, an RCA-3.5 mm cable, a cable with 3.5 mm plugs for connecting a microphone, and that's all.
The package, in fact, is standard and very modest, but there is everything you need for the normal operation of the system.
Appearance of the model
The design and appearance of the Sven MS-1085 speakers is quite attractive. Satellites are assembled from small fragments of MDF panels. Additionally, the body is glued with a wood-like film. The front plate on the speakers is a mirror-gloss plastic. It looks cool, but, as you know, fingerprints are very clearly visible on such a surface, and this spoils the appearance.
As for the design of the speakers, they have frames and a frame for chromed metal. The top speaker is additionally decorated with a three-spoke cap.
Now about the subwoofer. Its body is also assembled from MDF and covered with wood-like film. On the right side of it is the outlet of the bass reflex pipe. The left side is devoid of any connectors. On the back of the subwoofer, you can find the power switch, network cable output, remote control cable output, 4 RCA - 2 input and 2 output. There is also a 3.5 mm jack for connecting a microphone and a small knob for adjusting the bass.
The front side of the subwoofer has an interesting design, in the form of a large chrome ring with the company logo in the middle. By the way, the front part is also made of glossy plastic, which again will collect all fingerprints and dust.
As for the control panel, it has a not too long wire, which will not allow using it away from the subwoofer. On the remote itself there are 2 3.5 mm jacks - one for headphones, and the other for a microphone. At the top is a large silver knob to increase or decrease the volume. It is very convenient. No need to go somewhere to the subwoofer and adjust the volume level through it.

It's time to talk about the technical characteristics of the speakers Sven MS-1085. So, on the satellites there are two types of speakers: low-frequency and high-frequency. Their sizes are 75 mm and 25 mm, respectively. Power speakers declared 13 watts.
The subwoofer speaker has a size of 125 mm and a power of 20 W, which is actually the standard in this price segment. The subwoofer frequency range is quite good - from 40 to 150 Hz. This in practice should have a positive effect on the richness of the bass. If we talk about satellites, then their frequencies are equal to indicators of 150-20000 Hz - a pure classic.
Here, in general, is all that can be said about the characteristics of acoustics. Parameters are more than standard. But the interesting thing is how it all will sound.
Sound quality
Now let's go through the sound. Sven MS-1085 produces quite high-quality sound, but at the same time there are problems typical for Sven with high frequencies and low frequencies. The middle of the speakers sounds very good. Low frequencies are worse, but, good, the subwoofer and bass control allow you to get rid of the problem. But there is nothing to be done with the tops. After 15 kHz there is a decline, and a sharp one.
If to summarize the sound of acoustics in general, then it is quite good and fully corresponds to its price. At least at a low volume level and even at an average, distortion or extraneous noise is not heard. But still ... With an increase in the volume level, distortions become more pronounced.
Reviews
Reviews of Sven MS-1085 show that this model is quite high quality, but not without flaws. So, users note the lack of a high frequency control and a remote control, a short wire on the satellites and problems with high frequencies. Otherwise, there are no complaints, and the speakers justify their price.
Column cost
To date, the cost of speakers Sven MS-1085 is approximately 2900-3500 thousand rubles, which is somewhat overstated. But even with all this, the price can be considered quite justified. Higher-quality analogues from third-party manufacturers will cost an order of magnitude more expensive.
