From birth to the beginning of the creative path
In the city of Ulyanovsk, a son was born in the family of a retired military on April 8, 1956. The boy was named Kolenka.
Safronov Sr., Stepan Grigoryevich, left the family of hereditary Orthodox church ministers. Safronova Anna Fyodorovna, the mother of the family, is a semi-Lithuanian semi-finisher by birth, a native of the Lithuanian town of Panevezys.
Father, mother, six children lived modestly, but in peace.
Nikolai began to draw as a child. He redrawn illustrations from books. He was mainly interested in marine subjects, as he dreamed of becoming a pirate.
After graduating from the 8th grade, he went to Odessa, where he entered the naval school. The first steps - work in the theater of Donatas Banionis as a graphic designer and at a linen factory as a fabric designer. At the same time, he is actively painting and putting up for sale. Canvases began to be in demand.

In 1990, Nikas married the Italian Francesca Vendramin. They lived together for 13 years. The couple in 1992 had a son, Stefano, whom his father is very proud of.
