What walls can be demolished

How to remove partitions
Dismantling of partitions can also be done independently. Such a wall should be disassembled in parts. If we are talking about concrete or brick, then raising more than ten kilograms will be problematic. For such work, a concrete disc or angle grinder should be used . To facilitate the process of working with a marker, it is necessary to make markings along which the wall will collapse gradually. This method is virtually silent, however, accompanied by the formation of a large amount of dust.
The wall can still be crushed; for this, special chisels and a perforator are used. When working with the latter, it is necessary to ensure that adjacent walls are not damaged. This method allows you to cope with the work quickly enough, but is accompanied by a high noise level and sloppiness. If you are dismantling the partitions, then small holes can be drilled into the wall using a hammer drill or drill. This method is most often used by professionals. But first you need to outline the lines that divide the wall into separate sections. Holes are drilled through them, which are located close to each other. Having drilled a site, it is necessary to break it out with a hammer or a chisel.

When the wall is already drilled, you should tap the places that should be removed. If the wall consists of concrete or brick, then the surface is sprayed with water to prevent the formation of dust. Among other things, for this, professionals sometimes use a piece of unnecessary fabric that is wetted in water and hung out at the entrance to the room.
Dismantling a wooden floor
When dismantling is carried out in the apartment, you may need to remove the flooring. At the first stage, plinths are removed, and then the floorboards are disassembled. It is necessary to remove the floors, starting work from the entrance, so it will be possible to save the boards so that it is possible to use them in the future. If there is an edged board, then it is necessary to start the dismantling work with it. Replacing floors sometimes requires working with floorboards reinforced with screws, in which case the task is simplified. Concrete screed removal
If you are replacing floors, you may need to remove the concrete coating. In this case, you can use the shock method, which is the most effective, but creates a lot of noise. In the process of work, it is best to use a jackhammer. Experts often use a joint cutter, however, working with it will be impossible if the concrete layer is more than 30 cm and has reinforcement. Two people will be able to cope with the work.
How to dismantle windows
Window dismantling is also quite often carried out in the process of repair work. Initially, it is necessary to remove the window sashes, and then remove the box. At this point, the plaster may begin to crumble from the wall. Remains of thermal insulation are removed from the opening. Sometimes it happens that the window openings are supplemented with metal fences, while they are cut off, which allows you to remove the grille itself. Sometimes the dismantling of windows is accompanied by the removal of gratings, which are fixed on bolts. It is much easier to do such work yourself. Elements are removed with an adjustable wrench, but if you use power tools, then the grill can be reused.
Garbage removal
Dismantling and garbage removal from the apartment are made according to certain rules. There are sanitary standards for this. If after repairs you still have electric lamps or lighting devices containing mercury, then you cannot store and render them harmless yourself. It is also impossible to transport such spent lamps on their own. To do this, contact specialized organizations. Construction waste should be taken to specially designated areas. But non-utilizable waste is transported to special landfills for disposal and disposal.
