Assumption Cathedral
A five-domed stone cathedral with a bell tower, built in 1821 in the style of classicism, designed by architect V. Petrov on the site of the former dilapidated wooden church. In 1933 it was closed, and his property was nationalized.
During the years of inactivity, the cathedral was partially destroyed and was not preserved in its original form. In 1995, he was returned to the parishioners, whose funds were used for restoration work. In 1998, the temple became part of the Assumption Monastery and received the status of the cathedral of the Ivanovo diocese.

Church of the Introduction of the Virgin
The Vvedensky church in Ivanovo is the main part of the Vvedensky convent, located on the street. Bazisnoy, d. 23. The building was built of red brick in 1907 in the Russian style as a pillarless five-domed church. Popularly known as the "Red Church".
In Soviet times, the KGB archive was located in the church. In 1990, he was returned to the diocese. In 1991, Patriarch Alexy II signed a decree on the formation of the Holy Vvedensky Convent.
Church of Elijah the Prophet
Built in 1842 at the expense of the merchant A. Lepetov. The architecture of the building is made in the style of late classicism. The facades are decorated with four-columned porticoes. From the west, the bell tower adjoins the temple.
In Soviet times, the city archives were located in the church building. Divine services resumed since 1990. Today the appearance of this temple in Ivanovo acquired in 1993 after restoration work.

Cathedral of the Transfiguration
Another famous Ivanovo church is the Transfiguration Cathedral, built in 1893 with the donations of the manufacturer F. Garelin, designed by architect A. Kaminsky.
The white-stone church was built in the Russian style and has 2 chapels - Nikolsky and Kazan. The church decoration details were borrowed from the architecture of the 17th century. On the west side, a tented bell tower is adjacent to the church.

Kazan church
In 1810, the buildings of the print factory were rebuilt into a house of worship. The project was led by architect J. Maricelli. In 1903, the house of worship was renovated and renamed the Church of the Life-Giving Trinity.
In 1907, the architect P. Begen reconstructed the building and added a five-domed structure. The modified temple received a new name - the Church of the Icon of the Kazan Mother of God.
The white-walled brick temple is crowned with black domes, which gives the building an unusual look.
In Soviet times, the building of the Orthodox shrine housed living quarters. In 1991, the Kazan Church of Ivanovo was returned to the Orthodox diocese. Today it is a functioning church with daily services.
