Salad with prunes and chicken and nuts is a tasty, nutritious and healthy dish. Most often it is cooked in the winter, when you especially want a hearty, high-calorie food. This mix contains a large amount of protein, vegetable fats - because we add walnuts, and prunes, as you know, helps digestion. In order for this salad to bring you the maximum benefit, instead of, for example, fried chicken, take boiled breasts, and mayonnaise dressing can be replaced with low-fat sour cream or natural yogurt. How to make a salad with prunes and chicken and nuts
This dish is very nutritious and high in calories, so it may well be a full second for lunch. Its energy value is 233 kcal per 100 g, keep this in mind if you are on a diet. Although there is a risk that the taste of our salad may make you forget about the need to follow the figure. For him you will need:
- 400 g of boiled chicken fillet (it is best to take breasts);
- 2 large pickles;
- 5 hard boiled chicken eggs;
- 200 g soaked prunes;
- 1 cup walnuts;
- 1 can of canned corn;
- dressing mayonnaise.
Perhaps this is the easiest salad to make. Chicken, nuts, prunes, cucumbers and eggs are cut into pieces or squares - as you like, and then laid out in a bowl. To them you need to add corn, season with mayonnaise, carefully salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle generously with walnuts on top. If you already have boiled fillet, for example, often after a meal there are pieces of chicken meat in the refrigerator, then the rest is just five minutes. But if you seriously approach the process and use fresh breasts in the salad, then you will need to boil them for 20 minutes. You must admit that even a schoolboy can cook a salad with prunes and chicken and nuts. By the way, if you are going to serve refreshments to the festive table, in this case the ingredients can be laid out in a salad bowl in the following order: first eggs, then walnuts, chicken, cucumbers, prunes and corn. Before spreading the next layer, grease the previous one with mayonnaise, but do not overdo it. Top can be decorated with walnuts.

We can say that this is a typical "winter" dish, because salads with boiled beets are most often used in the cold season, for example, we can give both the beloved New Year's "Herring under a fur coat" and vitamin "Vinaigrette" as an example. To diversify your menu, try to cook such a salad, for two servings (if you are going to cook more, proportionally increase the number of ingredients), take:
- 100 g of boiled chicken, fillet;
- 1 small beet (it is better to cook several in advance at once);
- 1 small green apple, sour to taste;
- 4 things. prunes
- a handful of walnuts;
- for dressing - natural yogurt, lemon juice - not more than 1 teaspoon, and salt.
Chop the ingredients into a salad finely: chicken, prunes, walnuts should turn out in neat slices. Grate beets and apples on a coarse grater. By the way, if you cook it and breasts in advance, then cooking it will take you only a couple of minutes. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, season with a mixture of yogurt and lemon juice, salt and mix well. That's how simple it is to diversify your menu in winter.
