History of St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Economics
The University of Service and Economics was established in 1969 as a branch of the Moscow Technological Institute of Consumer Services. Only in 1990 did they introduce full-time education within the walls of the educational institution, before that the entire educational process was conducted on an evening basis. In 1999, the educational institution received the name and status of the St. Petersburg University of Service and Economics. In 2012, St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Economics became a structural unit of the established St. Petersburg University of Economics. It also included such St. Petersburg universities as FINEC and ENGECON.

The structure of the university includes 9 faculties, among them:
- regional economics and management;
- design and arts and crafts;
- legal and others.
In addition, the faculty of the university also includes the faculty of part-time and distance learning and the faculty of further professional education.
Admission to undergraduate and graduate programs
For admission to bachelor's degree programs, an applicant needs to submit a set of documents to the university selection committee within the time period established by the regulatory documents of St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Economics. In the direction of preparing bachelors “Computer Network Security” at the University of Service and Economics, the passing score in 2017 was 216. In 2018, 25 budget places were allocated, 50 places with tuition fees. Tuition fees are 184,000 rubles per year.
Dormitories
Nonresident students of the University of Service and Economics have the opportunity to settle in the Interuniversity campus, located in one of the sleeping areas of St. Petersburg. A distinctive feature of this hostel is the fact that students from different universities of the city live there. The cost of living per month depends on the student’s training form. Those who study on a budgetary basis need to pay 1,000 rudders per month. Students of a paid basis of study must pay 2900 rubles per month.
To check into the hostel, the student must submit to the MSG passport office a package of documents that includes an application for settlement, a copy of the passport, a certificate from the educational institution, a medical certificate about the state of health, and a certificate from the FLH. Students who have not reached the age of 18 also require written consent to live with a minor on the Interuniversity campus.
