In November 1910, a significant event for domestic aviation took place in Sevastopol. It was in this city that the first educational institution in Russia was opened, which was engaged in training military pilots. Throughout its entire functioning from 1910 to 1998, the name of the Sevastopol Officer Aviation School repeatedly changed.
