Protective dolls are easy to make with your own hands. To do this, you will need shreds of ordinary matter, as well as braid and thread. The doll can not even be sewn. To make this amulet for family well-being is easy using the nodular method. This is a pair or two-faced doll made from fabrics of light and dark colors. In the early morning, people turned this amulet with the bright side up, and in the evening - the dark one.
  • The symbol of a strong marriage was the ritual doll Couple, or Lovebirds. She was a female and male figure with one common arm. Such a doll was presented to the young at the wedding, fastening it on a towel.
  • For prosperity in the house, the Slavs made a doll Zernushka. They made it from a bag filled with grain. The grain was sometimes made by women who dreamed of having a child.

A bag with herbs, grain or spruce branches protects happiness in the house well. Like many other charms, such objects were an obstacle to evil forces trying to penetrate the house or crib of our ancestors. Gradually, these amulets, which can be easily made with their own hands, began to serve to attract the harvest, wealth and prosperity. Such a charm is considered so strong that it is able to divert and protect the house not only from an invisible enemy, but also from a real ill-wisher and a thief. On top of the bags were decorated with pebbles and herbs, which also had their own significance. Inside them were placed:

  • a pin that protected from the evil eye;
  • a coin with which financial abundance should come in the family;
  • grains - for prosperity;

Before fixing the horseshoe in the place chosen for it, as a rule, above the door itself, each member of the family must certainly hold it in his hands. Thus, the amulet gets acquainted with the household and gives each of them good luck and happiness.

It is worth noting that iron was considered by all peoples as metal, allowing to drive out evil spirits. Even an ordinary nail that drove over the door guarded him from the evil eye.

In Russia, a horseshoe was an object that made it possible to frighten away demons and avoid diseases and misfortunes. That is why it was revered in the villages of blacksmiths. These masters in the eyes of people became great wizards, subjugating magic metal with fire. The Slavs believed that only the iron horseshoe with which the horse was already horseshoe could become a happy amulet .

Kolovrat

What does this word mean? Its meaning can be understood by breaking it into two parts. The first of these, “colo”, means “wheel” or “circle”. The second - “gate” - “rotate”.

The Kolovrat amulet has a meaning that is directly related to its origin. This is a symbol of a complete turn that leads a person from worse to better. In other words, he directs him from failure to success, from poverty to wealth, from disease to health. However, the value of the Kolovrat amulets does not end there at all. This amulet is a symbol of the sun, eternal flame and light, not allowing even the smallest piece of darkness into human life.

Kolovrat is a sign of the most powerful ancient Slavic gods, namely Khors, Dazhdbog and Svarog-Svarozhich. All of them were for our ancestors masters and custodians of heat, light and the sun itself. That is why the Kolovrat is able to protect its owner from dark forces and free his soul from all that is useless, which interferes with a happy life.

Charm of Kolovrat

Kolovrat belongs to the group of Slavic guard symbols. Moreover, there are more than a hundred options for its image. So, a pattern with diverging four rays symbolizes the power of fire, with six - the power of the god Perun, and with eight - all the gods of the ancient Slavs.

This amulet of family happiness can be worn by both women and men, but only in different versions. They differ in the direction of the rays. Thus, images on amulets for men are rays directed clockwise, and for women - against it.

All these amulets allow you to find life harmony, conjugal happiness and love. They protect from evil eye and damage, give protection and protection of light forces, allow you to successfully resolve any problems and are an impenetrable barrier to the forces of darkness.

Next summer they should be replaced with new ones.

Salt is considered capable of absorbing all the negative energy that enters the home, protecting it from thieves and from accidents, from unpleasant events and from bad people. In addition, it helps in attracting seminal happiness and harmony.

How to use this amulet? Salt can be poured into a bag or filled with bottles, which are placed in the most secluded places in the house. From time to time, the product needs to be changed.

Broom

The role of amulets was performed by these objects among different peoples who inhabited our planet. But nevertheless, among the Slavs, as a talisman, the broom occupied a special place. Our ancestors believed that in every home there is a brownie, which protects people from any evil. This creature warned the family about impending troubles and changes, and even helped to conduct household affairs. The place of the brownie is behind the stove or in another dark and warm corner, and sometimes he preferred to rest on a broom.

Our ancestors respected their protector. That is why they tried to keep the brooms clean. We changed this item every year and did not allow it to become shabby and worn out. They made brooms by hand and decorated them at home both inside and out. So the Slavs defended their home from evil forces and expressed reverence for the house. Charm brooms have never been used. They had only a decorative purpose.

Today, no one will hang an ordinary broom on the wall. Instead, they acquire small amulets that are decorated with various pebbles, ribbons and flowers.

Icons

A family amulet is sometimes acquired in a church shop. It may become an icon, which before use must be blessed in the temple and prayed. In this case, higher powers will help the house much more willingly.

Holy images are usually depicted on wooden boards. They were written only by specially trained artists who received blessings from the supreme clergy and fasted.

There were so-called folk icons. They were created by amateur craftsmen. In such images, strict icon-painting laws were not respected. A large place in such works was occupied by the personal vision of the master.

Today there are craftswomen who are engaged in embroidery of icons. This type of needlework is becoming increasingly popular. Such products are used not only as a personal, but also as a family amulet. They are considered very effective.

The embroidery of icons is a rather fascinating activity. However, before starting to create an image, it is necessary to go to church and consult with a confessor or priest about a drawing that will be reflected on the fabric. The finished icon will need to be sanctified so that it becomes an effective amulet.

Spells

As already mentioned above, amulets can have not only a material form. Sometimes they are verbal. As such, spells and good conspiracies are used. They are good magic and are therefore called white. The mentioned charms are verbal texts with which mental desires acquire a material basis. In order to protect relatives by reading them, it is necessary to imagine an image in the form of a fortress or a fence. And when treating a child, it is recommended to mentally depict for himself a battle with a spear and a sword.

The difference between verbal amulets lies in the fact that they do not require a lot of time, but at the same time quite powerful.

The classic prayer delivered on a weekday is “The Seven Crosses”. It allows you to avert any misfortune and protects against all types of evil. A prayer to St. John can become an obstacle to the negative energy that can penetrate the house. For all baptized people, “Our Father” is recommended for this purpose.
