The Cathedral of the Theotokos Skoroshlushnitsy (“October Field”), located on the Khodynsky Field in Moscow, is one of the most important monuments of Russian religious culture, spiritual heritage, and construction art.
Divine services are held regularly in the monastery itself, believers meet, the spiritual life of the capital is in full swing. Various interesting events are often held on the territory near the temple, uniting both children and adults, helping to increase the level of culture and morality of Moscow residents.

Story
The church has a very interesting history of appearance a little more than a hundred years ago. The first cloister was built - the Temple of the Quick Rising in Moscow at the end of the 90s of the XIX century in the area of the Great All Saints Grove - on the Hotynka River. The construction was carried out at the expense of the merchant T. Gorodnichev
Initially, a summer military hospital was located here. And the church was erected under him - in honor of St. Panteleimon.
The first monastery building was a small wooden blockhouse. An iconostasis was made inside - in 1 tier, as well as an altar. The capacity of the temple at that time was only 20 people, which was not enough with an army of 300 military.
Therefore, in 1901-1902 a large stone temple was erected. It was built under the care of the state adviser I. Kolesnikov.
During the revolution of 1917, the monastery ceased to act as a religious monastery and became just a warehouse. It was at this time that a wooden church was demolished, the bell tower of a stone church was dismantled.
After a long absence of repair, complete desolation, the subsequent use of the building as a warehouse for semiprecious stones, in 1992 the church was again transferred to believers.
From that time on, divine services were resumed, the bell tower was restored, the refectory and Sunday school buildings were added, and a fence was built around the perimeter of the courtyard.
In 2001, the Temple of the Naughty (“October Field”) was visited by Patriarch Alexy II.
Worship services
Divine services are regularly held in the monastery - services during which prayers and biblical texts are sung or read. Also at this time (especially in celebratory services and liturgies) religious rites are performed.
All this allows believers (living in this area of the city, as well as from the whole capital and other cities) to join the Divine, to develop faith and love for the Lord and people. The sacrament of communion is especially important.
The main task of worship and obedience in the Temple of the Skoroshodynitsa on the “October Field” (schedule below) is the wise teaching of Christian believers to the commandments of Christ, communion with prayer and repentance, meekness and humility. An important aspect of faith in God is also love and gratitude.
Divine services are available: daily, weekly, annual, holiday. Especially important are Easter, Christmas, Assumption of the Queen of Heaven, on the Trinity, in honor of the Icons of the Holy Great Martyrs and others.
The abbot of the church, Archpriest Alexy Chuley, conducts them in this monastery.
Icon "Naughty"
Especially the place in the temple is occupied by the Icon “The Naughty”. This is the face of the Queen of Heaven, which is considered miraculous. The original was written on Mount Athos in Greece (currently located in the monastery of Dohiar).
Thanks to this icon, blind people see clearly who could not walk with their feet, begin to move, and so on. Lik also saved many from captivity and shipwrecks.
The sacred lists of the Icon of the Naughty First came to the territory of Russia in the 19th century from Mount Athos itself. Moscow was immediately placed in the chapel of St. Panteleimon, which is at the Vladimir Gate (Kitay Gorod).
Initially, this face enjoyed the love and veneration of believers. People have seen real miracles of healing.
And therefore, at first, a wooden, and at the beginning of the 20th century, stone temple of the Skoronoshlushnitsa (“October Field”) was built, which is on Khodynsky Field - in Moscow.
The celebration of the icon is held annually on November 9th. But even during the year, prayers are read before the face and sacred songs are sung.

- Monday through Friday - matins at 8.00 (including the Liturgy and Confession);
- from Saturday to Sunday - all-night vigil;
- Sunday - liturgy at 7.00 and 9.00, in the evening - akathist Panteleimon;
- holidays - all-night vigil and liturgies at 7.00 and 9.00.
In the temple, such sacred actions are carried out as: baptism, wedding, prayers, unification, funeral services. Regular worship services are taking place.
