Zaporizhzhya Electrotechnical College of Zaporizhzhya National Technical University is one of the best specialized educational institutions of I-II levels of accreditation in the Dnieper region of Ukraine. The college specializes in electrical engineering, metalworking, and economic disciplines.
History reference
Zaporizhzhya Electrotechnical College was reorganized from the Zaporizhzhya Industrial College in 1990 as a result of an experiment proposed by the USSR State Education on creating colleges that meet the requirements of the time on the basis of the best secondary specialized educational institutions. They provide the necessary level of training, take into account the progressive world and national experience and traditions in the approach to training. The college was transferred to the MBO of Ukraine on 11.29.1991.
Characteristic
Today Zaporizhzhya Electrotechnical College of ZNTU prepares junior specialists, provides course and professional retraining of specialists of various (mainly technical) profiles. The institution is characterized by multifunctionality, flexibility and a variety of forms of specialist training, taking into account individual personality abilities.
Graduates have sufficient training in their specialty, which allows them to easily get involved in the production process, as well as continue their studies at universities as part of the continuing education system of Ukraine. Today, more than 1000 students study at the full-time department, 180 at the correspondence department. Over 500 students undergo retraining. The average cost of a full-time study cycle is 5,730 hryvnias (about 12,300 Russian rubles), and in absentia - 2,460 (5300 Russian rubles).
