Ebzeev Boris Safarovich: biography
The future president of Karachay-Cherkessia was born in 1950 in the village of Dzhangi-Jer Kyzyl (Kyrgyzstan) in a family of immigrants. As is known from the history of the USSR, many Caucasian peoples during the years of World War II were forcibly evicted from their native villages and mountain villages and transported to Central Asia. Only in the late 50s, many of them received permission to return to their homeland and start life anew.
Boris Safarovich Ebzeev was born far from the land of his ancestors, on a strange Kyrgyz land, and lived there for the first 7 years of his life. In 1957, his family returned to their native land and settled in the city of Karachaevsk. The boy went to high school N 3, studied well and dreamed about the profession of a lawyer. In order to enter a law school, he needed to have two years of working experience behind him (this was a prerequisite for entering the institute), so after graduating from school in 1966 he got a job as a carpenter, and then concrete worker in one of the construction organizations in his city .
Education
In 1967, Boris Safarovich Ebzeev, whose family was very proud of the achievements and successes of his son, entered the Saratov Law Institute. While studying for excellent academic performance, he became a Lenin scholarship holder (the highest student achievement in the USSR). As a third-year student, in 1971 he became a delegate to the First All-Union Students rally. It was then that Boris was awarded the government award "For Valiant Labor". State exams were passed to them, of course, excellent, Boris received a red diploma. Further there was a graduate school, which he graduated ahead of schedule, having defended his thesis and received a Ph.D. in law. The theme of his work was "Freedom of Personality of Citizens of the USSR: Constitutional Foundations." In the late 80s, Boris Safarovich Ebzeev mastered another peak and became a doctor of law. And this time, his dissertation was devoted to the issue of human rights in Soviet society. In 1990, he was awarded the title of professor.

Career
From 1975 to 1976 Ebzeev Boris Safarovich, whose photo you see in the article, served in the motorized parts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. And, as always, excelled. Legislative activity
Ebzeev Boris Safarovich is a co-author of a number of bills and laws, for example, the draft Constitution of the Russian Federation. For this, he was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the President of the Russian Federation and a prize. He is also the author of the Constitution of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic (1991), the Law "On the Constitutional Court" of the Russian Federation. As a legal scholar B.S. Ezbeev was a member of the dissertation committees of the Saratov State Academy of Law, as well as the Scientific Research Institute under the Prosecutor General of the country.
Judge of the Constitutional Court
A few months before the collapse of the USSR at the 5th Congress of Deputies of the RSFSR, he received a majority of the votes and was elected judge of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation. Already in 1993, he joined the group of the Constitutional Conference, as well as the commission for finalizing the Constitution of Russia. President of Karachay-Cherkessia
In the last year of the twentieth century, Boris Safarovich Ebzeev (his contacts can be found by contacting the CEC) put forward his candidacy during the election of the President of Karachay-Cherkessia. However, this time luck left him, and he dropped out of the presidential race immediately after the first round.
Only 9 years later, in 2008, by decision of President D.A. Medvedev, his candidacy was submitted to the legislative body of Karachay-Cherkessia to vest Ebzeev with the powers of the president of this Caucasian republic.
On August 5, 2008, at a meeting of the legislative branch of the republic, it was decided to appoint Ebzeev as president. A year later, he became a member of the Presidium of the State Council of Russia, and in 2011, he voluntarily resigned. Awards, honorary titles
In the winter of 2000, Boris Safarovich was awarded the title of Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation for his diligent work, and in April 2011 he was awarded the Order of Friendship for his services in scientific work. By the way, back in 2004, he was also awarded the title of Honored Lawyer of the Russian Federation for his active participation in the legislative activity of both his native republic and the country as a whole.
