It is used in the treatment of not only candidiasis, but also other diseases caused by various fungal microorganisms. This tool can be used topically and topically, including intravaginally. Suppositories with clotrimazole have a destructive effect on the peculiarities of the cellular structure of fungi and lead to their dissolution. A small amount of the drug reduces the ability of harmful microorganisms to reproduce, and its high concentration leads to their complete destruction.
Unfortunately, like many other drugs, clotrimazole has a number of side effects. It has a fairly high toxicity, which allows you to cope with the disease, but, even if it enters the bloodstream in an insignificant amount, it can provoke undesirable consequences. Particularly carefully, this drug should be used in patients with serious liver problems, as well as in pregnant women.

In any case, self-medication is not recommended. Promotional medications, especially the “most effective” ones, can only harm health. Successful treatment can only be prescribed by qualified doctors who take into account the specific condition of their patients.
