Apple and curd strudel

Cooking strudel

The most important thing that needs to be done correctly to create this dish is to knead the dough. To prepare it, you need to take half a glass of ice water, 2 tablespoons of oil (vegetable), a little salt (literally a pinch), as well as a glass of flour, which must be sieved in advance.

Of all the products, a very tight and elastic dough is kneaded, which is placed in a bag and left in a warm place for 40 minutes. In the meantime, you can take on the creation of the filling.

Raisins are washed with hot water. Later it is squeezed and filled with cognac. Of course, you can replace alcohol with boiling water with the addition of cognac special essence. However, a slightly different taste will turn out.

Separately, several stale pieces of loaf are rubbed on a coarse grater. For about 5 minutes, they should be thoroughly fried in a pan, and then poured into a bowl. A spoonful of butter is added here, which is slightly softened in advance. 3 small tablespoons of sugar are also poured. The result is a delicious, soft and sweet bread crumb. 2 tablespoons of this yummy should be set aside separately.

A half kilogram of apples is cut into 8 slices each and peeled. Only then each slice is cut finely into thin slices. They are mixed with breadcrumbs and raisins, which are pressed from brandy. 4 tablespoons of vanilla sugar, cinnamon and a small amount of cognac from raisins fall into the filling. The filling should be infused in the cold. Therefore, it is cleaned for half an hour in the refrigerator.

Now begins a very crucial moment. Need to roll out the dough. To do this, first knead it and sprinkle it with flour, then to freely remove a thin layer of dough from a board or substrate. And then the work begins with a rolling pin. Once the dough is rolled, it should be transferred to a towel that is sprinkled with flour. And now the dough needs to be pulled out so that it becomes almost translucent (very, very thin). However, the formation should not break.

So, the finished dough is smeared with butter, and then sprinkled with crumbs, which was previously set aside. Approximately half the space is laid out and filling. Now you need to roll a tight roll, carefully squeezing the apple strudel at each turn. In this form, it is placed on a baking sheet and sent to the oven for 25 minutes. It must be remembered that this dish never becomes rosy.

As soon as the strudel is taken out of the oven, it should be covered with a towel for about 10 minutes. Then it is cut into pieces and served to the table. After all, the most delicious apple strudel if it is warm.

As a decoration on a plate, you can put a ball of ice cream. It will become an additional sauce for dessert. Although, you can serve the dish with whipped cream, jam, jam or curd cream.

Strudel with cottage cheese and pumpkin

Making strudel is an art. And here you can experiment. However, only the filling is subjected to this, and the dough always remains unchanged. For another unique and original strudel, you will need 300 g of flour, 2 tablespoons of butter, salt and 100 g of butter. And you need to make the filling from half a kilogram of pumpkin (grated), the same amount of cottage cheese, 3 tablespoons of sugar, 4 eggs, vanilla sugar, 100 g of butter, half a glass of cream (fatty) and salt.

First, prepare the dough and send it to cool. Making the filling is very simple. Grated pumpkin is left for a short time, and then the juice is completely drained. All ingredients are added to the pumpkin and whipped with a mixer.

A thin transparent layer is rolled out from the dough, greased with oil and laid out the filling on top. Next, a roll is formed, which is baked in the oven.
