The "Maral" carbine and its modifications are focused on commercial hunting for large and medium-sized animals. As ammunition, a cartridge of 7.62 * 51 mm caliber is used. It is worth noting that the Browning Maral carbine is equipped with a locking barrel mechanism that provides a turn of the bolt into three combat positions. At the same time, a figured groove of the frame and a bolt protrude with it. Due to the forward movement of the slide frame, the charge from the cage is sent using the front cut to the chamber. Then the ejector tooth moves into the cartridge groove, the bolt rotates and the combat protrusions go beyond the limits of the receiver stops. The flag of the translator of the trigger device enters the slot of the shutter frame, blocking the node from self-activation.
Operating principle
When you press the trigger of the "Maral" carbine, the combat spring mechanism acts on the hammer, which breaks the cartridge capsule. Synchronously, the trigger releases the focus of the translator, rotated with the flag, while freeing the shutter frame from blocking.
After moving the shutter frame back, the lock rotates and is released from the locks of the stops of the receiver. The right part of the stop interacts with a spiral groove in the barrel. As a result of this operation, the extraction of the used charge occurs with a bias. Subsequent retraction of the bolt frame back helps to remove the liner from the chamber with the help of an ejector. In this case, the reflector rests on the skeleton of the bolt part, after which the sleeve is ejected. At the same time, the cock is cocked, and for the next salvo, you just need to push the frame part by the handle all the way forward, pressing the trigger.

Incomplete disassembly of the weapon in question begins with the extraction of the clip. To do this, press the magazine latch, and then press a small object on the other latch on the left side. The assembly order is mirrored.
