Signs, signs, signs ... There are a huge number of them literally for all occasions. The people left us a legacy of the rules of conduct in a given situation, especially if we need to defend ourselves, to protect ourselves from unknown hostile forces. Conspiracies, lapels made secret knowledge and helped people in difficult times, helped out in case of a sudden disaster, or warned in case of a possible danger.
Since ancient times, man has been intimately connected with the natural world, from which he draws both material for observation, and wisdom, the power with which he learned to manage difficult situations, to change them to his advantage. But technological progress almost broke this living connection, estranged children - humanity - from their mother - Nature. And therefore, from the great spiritual heritage of our ancestors, we, the people of the 21st century, got miserable crumbs. And even with them we sometimes don’t know what to do, where to apply.

For example, if the right hand itches, what does it mean? What sign or just should you wash your hands once again or go to the doctor for scabies? And in general, is there any sense in folk signs, or are all of them a sheer superstition, which remains to be laughed at and forgotten? Doctors, of course, will be prone to just such a point of view, and say that we do not have enough vitamins, minerals, that we need to take the appropriate preparations, and lubricate the skin with a suitable cream or cosmetic petroleum jelly so that it does not dry out and does not wind off. Maybe they are right. But when the right hand itches, and you meet an old friend, greet this very hand, the justice of public observations is evident. It is said after all: the palm itches - you will shake someone's hand.
What else is fraught with tickling sensations in the area of the right hand? The people believe that you will keep the money. Get from someone: either they will repay the debt, or they will give a bribe, or maybe they will give it for beautiful eyes. beat his forehead on the floor to satisfy his request, now it is used in a figurative meaning. But the sign works! Just like if you scratch the back of your head, you will have to think the thought, smash your head over a serious task.

Let's get back to our hands. Big science says this: the right hand and its motor operations are controlled by our left hemisphere. It, in turn, controls our logic, rational thinking. And if we are focused on something, if we are busy thinking about a difficult situation that requires a non-standard solution, without even noticing, we can scratch our right palm purely mechanically. And when the situation "resolved" and success came, we recall our feelings and say: "It was not for nothing that itching, to luck!".
