Plekhanov University of Economics G.V. is one of the leading in Russia among similar specialized universities. What is a university?
Plekhanov Russian University of Economics named after G.V. Plekhanov began his work at a time of unprecedented economic growth in the country: the development of industry, the construction of a wide railway network, the opening of new enterprises, and active international trade.
This led to the fact that at the beginning of the XX century the need for personnel with knowledge of economics, commerce, and management increased sharply. That is why in 1907, on the basis of female and male commercial schools, the Moscow Commercial Institute was born, which became a strong foundation for the formation of the university, which is still active today.
