From the very moment of its formation, in 1996, the musical group "White Eagle" was surrounded by a halo of mystery and conspiracy. Unknown participants, where did they come from? Powerful, well-planned advertising campaign. The scope and quality of the shooting - after all, the clips of the White Eagle group already clearly stood out from the others. Behind all this was a businessman and owner of the popular Premier SV advertising company named Vladimir Zhechkov.
It was his voice that we heard in the first albums of The White Eagle. And then Vladimir became the producer of the group. But first, when he only decided to try himself on a vocal path, the group was almost virtual. Nobody saw her, but popularity nonetheless continued to grow. And then Zhechkov began to think about how to recruit the touring line-up of musicians. The classical group was planned: with a keyboard player, drummer, bass player and, of course, backing vocals. The first soloist was Mikhail Faybushevich - many also know him as the author of most of the songs of the national artist Sofia Rotaru. However, between the appearance of Michael and the songs that he performed, there was a clear discord. Therefore, the success of the concert performances of the group was not necessary.
Leonid Lyutvinsky replaced Faybushevich as the lead singer of the White Eagle in the 2000s and the audience liked the audience much more. In 2006, Alexander Yagya became the vocalist, but four years later the soloist of the White Eagle group changed again: he became Andrey Khramov.
There was a whole story with the name of the group. The producer was eager to create such a team so that the audience immediately understood: the guys are serious, but not devoid of self-irony and can laugh at themselves. These two hypostases - pathos and healthy humor - were united in the name “White Eagle”. Just at that time, the Premier SV group presented a vodka commercial of the same name. Its creator was Yuri Grymov. Some still remember his famous “And I am a white eagle!” And “A drunken ballerina”.
In those years, the audience was saturated with products, to say the least, of mediocre quality. So, we can say, “White Eagle” appeared just in time. The group instantly attracted the attention of journalists, critics, ordinary people. Prizes, prestigious and not very, fell on children like from a cornucopia: “Ovation - 98”, “Golden Gramophone”, “Quality Mark” and even “Silver galosh” - a difference for the most scandalous video clip. In 1998, the group managed to do the impossible - to collect all the large and significant prizes. By the way, since then this record has not been beaten by any musical collective. And we can’t even talk about less famous differences.
It is during this and next years that the peak of the celebrity of the White Eagle falls. Then as many as seven music videos were shot (there are 22 guys in all). Music for the group at different times was written by A. Dobronravov,
I. Matvienko, O. Gazmanov and other composers. And the authors of the texts were L. Rubalskaya, M. Andreev, M. Tanich,
M. Zvezdinsky.Why was the White Eagle so popular? Perhaps because of the exclusively "live" sound of vocalists and musicians. Or professional acting skills of Lutvinsky. Or maybe the whole reason is the originality and “dissimilarity” of stage productions with exclusive special effects that turned into real shows. Be that as it may, the guys soared into a wave of fame and remain the favorites of the audience to this day. Their concerts took place on four continents, in more than fifty countries and 500 different cities.
