Finally, you should make sure that the laptop or desktop computer has a WiFi wireless module, the appropriate drivers are installed for it, and it works as usual. You understand that without the presence of such a module in the system and the drivers installed for it, you can’t talk about a wireless connection. Separately, note that on some laptop models, the inclusion of communication can be done by a special switch on the side panels, keyboard shortcuts using FN, or in some other way. This is very important, since further consideration of the issue of Internet connection without this does not make sense.

- activate Access Point;

- in the SSID network name field, enter any arbitrary name;
- in the authentication type, select PSK2-WPA;
- in the Pre-shared key field, enter the invented password for access to the connection;
- save the changes by clicking the Save button.
System settings
In theory, after all the operations done, both the connection and the network should work. But it also happens that the operating system does not perceive automatically installed settings. In this case, the question of how to connect ByFly WiFi will come down to changing some parameters of the network adapter.
To do this, you need to log into the network and sharing management section, which is located in the standard "Control Panel" (you can also call it using the ncpa.cpl command from the "Run" console).
Here you need to select the desired network connection and go to the section for changing the properties of the network adapter. In the properties of the network, select the IPv4 protocol settings (as a rule, the main version of the connection uses the fourth version, not the sixth one).
For the gateway, set 192.168.1.1, and for your own internal address, change the last digit to 2. Obtaining DNS addresses, if everything works, can be left on automatically receiving settings.
What to do if DNS does not work?
But what to do when the connection does not work even with the automatically set settings? In most cases, the problem of how to connect ByFly WiFi can be solved by setting the DNS server addresses in manual mode.
This refers to specifying parameters from the configuration of the fours and eights based on free Google services. Do not like this option? Use Yandex settings or just perform a complete reset with clearing the DNS cache in the ipconfig / flushdns command line.
After executing the command, it is advisable to reboot the system and make sure that it is operational.
Proxy Preference Considerations
Along the way, it is worth noting the fact that in some systems the use of proxies for local addresses is enabled by default. This parameter affects the network and access to computers in it.
In the IP protocol settings, you need to go to additional options and disable the use of proxies, if this is not provided for by the provider’s communication settings. It is doubtful, of course, that the proxy is initially used, however, it will not hurt to check the settings. In addition, you can even experiment with addresses. You can enter the IP manually, but only in such a way that it differs from the gateway address by at least four to five dozen. That is, if the router has the last digit 0 or 1, the address of the computer should include 40 or 50 at the end.
Finally, another reason why the connection does not work may be to use a VPN. At least, at the stage of access to unlocked resources, it is desirable to disable this function. And the Internet speed will be higher, and the response time from the site will decrease, otherwise you just get a 504 error like Gateway Timeout, which indicates the inaccessibility of the main gateway, or, more simply, the router itself, which is the router or modem.
Brief Summary
As you can already understand from all the above material, the WiFi ByFly connection itself is not particularly complicated. In principle, all the actions are very much like connecting to the Rostelecom provider (at least, the main parameters used by the router and its settings look the same). The only difference is that the first operator very often uses the Bridge scheme, and the second is based on the operation of the network in PPPoE mode. For the rest, having understood these simple rules for setting up a connection, you can apply them to any devices and operators (providers) if, for some reason, automatic installation of parameters is impossible.
