The musician was born in Petropavlovsk on December 1, 1989. Full name - Ilnitsky Evgeny Yuryevich. He was brought up by his grandparents, since his father died when his wife was only a year old. Children's difficulties make themselves felt, and at 7 years old Zhenya smokes the first cigarette. He was fond of watching films, both foreign and domestic. At age 13, an interest in music appeared. At the same age, he first heard rap. He was educated as a signalman, but did not work by education.
Creative way
Rap made adjustments to the biography of Shot. In 2005, Eugene and his friend decided to record the first track. Inspired by famous rappers, the guys bought a microphone for 200 tenge and created a test song using a home computer. A friend was disappointed in his abilities, but found the game of Zhenya interesting. Shota was 16 years old at that time. He began to spread his work on the Internet under the pseudonym First Shot. The performer himself interprets such a nickname as something short and understandable - a shot, a flash.
At the age of 19, rapper Shot gave the first concert in the school assembly hall. Even then, classmates felt the unfolding potential and talent of the young musician. By the age of 21, Eugene had already recorded about 200 songs and gathered 30,000 fans in his community. In the period from 2010 to 2011, Zhenya has more and more acquaintances of interest, and they are trying to organize joint projects and concerts. There were times when an audience unfamiliar with their work threw cans and other garbage at them. Then everyone wanted to do solo work, and their connections weakened.
In 2012, Shota's popularity grew. His tracks began to be broadcast on the radio, some of them even took to the NTV channel. The community of fans has grown to 70 thousand, the total number of tracks has already reached 400. Songs of Zhenya often found themselves in the music tops thanks to the support of the fans who voted for him. Shot was even supposed to perform at the Day of Russia. But the organizers did not allow this to be done.
In 2013, it was possible to revive the concert activity. 2015-2016 years passed "afloat". After spending several months in the hospital, Zhenya returned to recording tracks, but due to health problems he often had to take a break. In general, Zhenya was sent to the hospital 4–5 times during the year. Shot dreamed of significant changes in his life and felt that he was going to this. Over the course of his career, Eugene has recorded over 600 songs.
Music preferences
There was love in his life, but music always came first. Like many rappers today, Eminem influenced Shot's biography. Eugene equaled him in terms of success, studied the history of his ups and downs.
He respected the music that was during his childhood - Decl, Bad Balance, Chef and others. And also Zhenya loved storytelling and semantic load. He was strict about his work and often listened to them in search of shortcomings. Sometimes he fell into a creative stupor, but it always went away after about six months.
Among the favorite genres of music, rap noted, but was not against listening to the classics, he loved old rock very much. He did not set a framework in music; he wished everyone to listen to music that teaches something. He believed that his audience was somewhat similar to him. I did not accept arrogance, welcomed simplicity. He said that nonprofit rap should carry the truth. He did not approve of songs that led to hostility and conflict.
Participated in battles, but realized that all these are empty words. He believed that money and respect can be achieved in other ways, for example, through creativity. Here is a quote from the song “SHOT”:

According to Shot, everyone is looking for himself in the music. Therefore, in every song he put a piece of his life. This explains the popularity of his lyric tracks.
Eugene had an alter ego - Mr. Shotty. The first two tracks from this person were recorded in 2009 and hit the Underground mixtape. The second time the narrative from this character appeared in 2012 in a song called "Advertising." Mr. Schotti is a positive character, Shot is more lyrical.
In 2017, Eugene expected to open up to the audience, to become more sincere. The previous work, he said, was a little reserved. In the same year, Eugene began to show interest in life. In particular, he was interested in the development of rap music in Kazakhstan.

Death
In 2017, Eugene planned to complete the album "Poison" and put it in public access. But the biography of Shot is interrupted for a day - a diabetic coma. Zhenya regains consciousness for several months. And soon faints again. This time everything is much harder - breathing had to be maintained with the help of a ventilator. On September 21, it became known that Shot could not get out of the coma and died.
