The usual metal construction, called the barbecue, is a constant companion of picnics in nature, when the company leaves the city to cover a clearing away from the hustle and bustle. Well, if you donβt need to go anywhere and you can relax culturally on your own suburban lands? Then it makes sense to think about how to build a brazier out of brick with your own hands.
The owner, of course, wants this building to be as beautiful as everything on its site. But the brazier should be convenient - both for the one who will conjure over it, and for the rest of the picnic participants.

oven bricks in water, otherwise when laying they will take moisture from the solution, the masonry will turn out to be fragile. Formwork is removed from the foundation, marking is made on it, exactly on which the bricks are laid. Masonry starts from the corners and ends in the middle of the row. For this, a carefully mixed solution of cement, sand and
slaked lime is used (1: 3: 0.25). It should look like thick sour cream. The solution fills the inter-brick and inter-row spaces. When laying, a dressing is necessarily performed, that is, the next row of bricks is laid with an offset of half the brick in relation to the previous one. During operation, the vertical and horizontal planes are constantly checked by the building level and plumb.
A brazier for summer residence is being built with the device of a brazier and furnace. Therefore, metal reinforcement is built into the masonry in advance as a support for the refractory bricks of the base of the furnace. Small gaps should be left between several bricks to allow air to flow. Additional supports in the masonry will serve for the grill, on which grilled meat will be prepared. For convenience, it is worth considering a niche under the barbecue where firewood will be stored.
If you want to deservedly boast about how to build a brazier with your own hands in brick with maximum convenience for guests, install a solid canopy close to it, which protects from the weather. And then the holiday will really be successful!
