Most often, the owners of a roomy kitchen decide to install an overhead sink, since different options can be used to implement this idea. The main thing is to prepare in advance all the necessary tools and materials.

- Material. Manufacturers most often use stainless steel with chrome or nickel plating, as well as porcelain stoneware, glass, acrylic.
- Fixation method. Sinks are mounted, overhead and embedded. The first option is practically not used today, since the product will look harmoniously only in state institutions and communal apartments.
- The form. Modern technologies make it possible to produce oval, round, rectangular, square and angular models.
- The location of the mixer. The purchased tap can be installed on the wall or sink.
- Complete set with additional elements. The user can install a surface-mounted sink on the cabinet with his own hands, and then equip it with taps for the washing machine, water filters.
The most popular today are stainless steel sinks. If the product is of high quality, then the magnet is attached tightly, otherwise the product may deteriorate before the time specified by the manufacturer.
Necessary tools
If the master only determines how to correctly install the purchased wash, then it should be noted that for fixing the invoice model it is not at all necessary to buy specialized tools. To embed a product into a laminated countertop from durable MDF or particleboard, it is necessary to prepare the basic devices in advance:
- A set of screwdrivers of different sizes.
- Standard electric drill with a set of drills of different diameters.
- Acrylic or silicone sealant, high-quality sealant.
- Hacksaw or jigsaw on wood.
- Ruler, marker, meter tape measure.
It is worth noting that using a hacksaw on a tree it is extremely difficult to quickly build the necessary cuts in the countertop. Preparatory work
Before installing a stainless steel sink, it is necessary to carefully mount all outlets for each siphon and mixer. Bracket Base

It is best to use a standard template, and in its absence, you can simply attach the brackets to the area of the wall where the sink will be installed. Using a conventional marker, all necessary points are marked. Holes are best prepared with a drill with a drill, which is equipped with a victorious tip. Installation technique
At the first stage, it is necessary to install a faucet with a flexible hose in the sink for supplying clean water, as well as a siphon. Due to this, it is possible to significantly simplify all further connection to the plumbing and sewer system. In many homes, a metal sink made of durable stainless steel on a wooden frame is installed. Such products in 99% of all cases are equipped with guide pins. Installation holes are drilled at the very top of the walls of the cabinet to fit a wooden frame on the pins.
A slightly different installation technology is designed for sinks without a frame. At the initial stage, the master can put around the perimeter wooden blocks of a suitable size and fix them on furniture corners. You can also use L-shaped fasteners made of durable plastic or metal. One side of the product must have a beveled slot. It is worth noting that four powerful self-tapping screws are necessarily screwed on the inner side of the wooden pedestal at a distance of up to 1.5 cm from the upper end at the very edges. Only after installing the sink on the self-tapping screws do they wear a pre-prepared mounting bracket through the hole in the slot. The second side always lies on the curved edge of the sink.
If the fastener was shifted along the oblique slot, then the upper half of the fastening corner gradually falls down, as a result of which the edge of the shell is pressed against the side wall of the cabinet. The end of the cabinet can be additionally greased with sealant, silicone or other water-repellent material. Some modern sink models boast four mounting holes with narrow slots in the curved inner compartment. In such a situation, the top end of the cabinet should contain four screws with a shift relative to the mounting holes.
Key nuances
Experts always draw the attention of newcomers to the fact that without a special key, all operations with a squeezing steel nut on the tee of an installed mixer under the sink will be simply impossible to perform. These manipulations are only possible with the sink removed. In order not to damage the product, it is necessary to prepare the thread of steel pipes, onto which it will be possible to screw the couplings. It is necessary to step back three ends from the end to gently wind the flax threads in an increasing amount clockwise. Such problems are completely eliminated in plastic pipes.
