What tools will we need?
We will not talk long about the difficulties of installing an outdoor unit on steep concrete walls, saying only that it is best to pre-worry about buying all kinds of drill sets and a powerful punch. Of course, you will need: the required number of fasteners, corrugation for conducting electrical cables, as well as screwdrivers and machines to protect wiring from overloads in the network.
Where to put the indoor unit?
Having studied how to install the air conditioner with your own hands, you need to immediately determine the place of its installation. Of course, the outdoor unit must be hung in a place convenient for you, but the indoor complex “anyhow” should not be located in any case.
So, it is not recommended to hang it near heating appliances, gas stoves and the like heat sources. Do not place the indoor unit in places where obstructed air circulation will be observed (behind curtains, in some remote corners). And never even think about how to install your own air conditioner over your own bed! At a minimum, you will be guaranteed a cold and a runny nose.

The easiest way is when you bought a "monoblock", which is a monolithic structure that is installed directly in the window opening. Since it is not difficult to install an air conditioner in a window, it is not worth describing this process for a long time. As a rule, it is only necessary to bring electricity to it and install drainage hoses.
Mount the indoor unit
For this operation, you just need a powerful drill, drill and dowel. It is mounted using aluminum corners, and indentation from the wall must be done, taking into account information from the technical passport of the product. As in the previous case, be sure to check the horizontal installation.
Since it is difficult to install an air conditioner with your own hands from the outside of the building, it is better to use a reliable stepladder or ladder. If it happens in an apartment building, it is imperative that you have an assistant who will insure you against falling out of the window!
It is better to entrust the installation of copper tubes of the route between the blocks to professionals, since you yourself will only disable the equipment. As a rule, they agree to such work easily.
Drainage
We connect drainage tubes from the external and internal blocks, putting them on special nozzles. The conclusion is best done either in some kind of external tank, or make a special drain on the street.
Installation of wires is carried out according to the scheme, which is attached by the manufacturer. It is advisable to install a circuit breaker.
