Front-wheel drive compact cars were produced with a volume of 1 liter (power 65 hp) and 1.3 liters (power 82 hp). In this case, the maximum speed of the first option was 150 km / h, the second - 170 km / h. The economical, small and comfortable first-generation Nissan Micra was very popular among the residents of the "stone jungle", especially women.
