What to do with old cars? Car recycling programs

The car today has become an integral part of the life of a modern person in almost any part of the world. But when the set operating time passes, the problem arises: what to do with the machine? Too old cars no one will just buy. How to say goodbye to a car without special financial and time costs?

cars recycling programs

This issue in recent decades in Russia has become relevant not only for motorists, but also for the whole society and the state. And not only in the field of economics, but also ecology, culture, in the social sphere. If even ten or twenty years ago it was possible to turn a blind eye to this problem, now it has become excessively painful, and therefore can be solved without fail.

Benefits of disposal

There are several options where to attach a car. A recycling program is the most convenient way to get rid of property that is no longer worth it. The state in the framework of such programs provides a monetary supplement for the purchase of a new car. In addition, car owners benefit from paying duties:

  1. Transport tax. If the car is broken, unable to move and is constantly in the garage, this cannot be an objective circumstance for the owner to refuse monetary duties. Moreover, when a car has a powerful engine (150 or more horsepower), the amount of tax becomes very sensitive. It is difficult to sell such a car on the secondary market, and if it succeeds, the price will be insultingly low. It is in this case that an option arises to dispose of the old machine. But at the same time, one must understand: if the documents in the legal plan turn out to be drawn up incorrectly, the transport tax will still have to be paid, since de jure the owner will remain the previous owner.
  2. Penalties Sometimes the previous owner of the car sells it by general power of attorney. And if the new owner does not deregister the car, all possible fines will begin to arrive at the address of the previous owner. In this situation, it is possible to end the conflict in several ways. For example, file a complaint with the police. From this time on, the new owner will not have the opportunity to sell the car, do maintenance, or go on a foreign voyage, and all that remains is to finally rewrite the car completely.

Society and State

The society also benefits from the recycling program for old cars - a vehicle disposed of in this way helps to prevent metal compounds and petrochemical products from entering the environment. And environmental issues are now very acute.

In turn, the state, pursuing a car recycling program, has several goals. Like any other state program, this one has separate goals and objectives. For example, the essence of a car recycling program is as follows:

  • to develop Russian industry;
  • to support residents of the country by allowing them to buy a new car at discounted prices;
  • to improve the social atmosphere by providing new jobs.

Stages of development

A car recycling program has been around for several years. Recently, the state introduced new changes, according to which the discount amount for the purchase of a new car in 2015 will be 40 thousand rubles. It should be remembered that this amount is not issued to the hands.

car recycling program terms

The car recycling program is gaining ground. This situation is predetermined by a number of circumstances. For example, an increase in the number of road accidents, which is why cars are not able to move normally. In some cities of Russia there are quite a lot of service sites with the main task - the treatment of cars in scrap metal. Consequently, many unlucky owners have a problem: in what place is it possible to dispose of a car and how will this happen?

Program Terms

The conditions of the car recycling program are as follows. When accepting a machine for recycling, it must meet the following requirements: year of production - no later than 2010; the operation period for one owner is not less than 12 months; all important machine parts are available. A Russian-made machine or a foreign one, but with assembly in our country, is suitable for the recycling program.

Program Stages

It should be pointed out that it is supposed to dispose not only cars, but also motorcycles, scooters and other mobile means. This is quite a difficult event, consisting of several stages, which is better to take on, starting with the dismantling of the machine. There are three stages of a car recycling program:

  1. First, all non-metal parts, wheels, electrical equipment are dismantled from the machine. Simply put, a car turns into a piece of metal. It is he who determines the cost of further dismantling - the stronger the metal, the longer and more expensive the processing will be.
  2. After removing non-metallic parts and electrical equipment, you need to free yourself from the liquids existing in the machine. Over time, they can damage parts made of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. There is another task - the preservation of the natural environment - petrochemical products are very toxic and toxic.
  3. At the last stage, the base of the machine, which is completely freed from additional elements, is sent under the press. The metal body is compressed, and then sent for remelting.

How to rent a car for recycling

Renting a car under a recycling program is a rather complicated undertaking, requiring a number of actions. So, a car owner who has decided to turn in his car for recycling needs to carry out the following chain of measures:

  • Hand over the decommissioned car to the dealer.
  • The police must draw up a document for recycling, where funds are paid for carrying out this process (the cost of registration is about three thousand rubles).
  • Transfer the recycling document, a copy of the receipt of the disposal funds to the dealer.
  • Choose another car.
  • Get a subsidy to buy a new car.
  • Submit to the dealer the available documents for the subsidy and certificate of disposal of the old machine.

Help on transferring the car for recycling is presented in the photo below. By the way, the word "disposal" is not used in official documents. Government agencies and dealers use the term "culling."

Then the dealer draws up documents for the new car and passes them along with the car to the owner.

Other disposal methods

It should be noted that disposal is not possible in all cases. For example, it cannot be carried out if some parts of the car are missing. In this case, it remains possible to sell cars for scrap in the secondary market. In addition, the car can be transferred to spare parts, because the decommissioned car still has suitable parts. Until 1991, old cars can be tried to transfer to museums of Soviet technology.

The above methods for implementing the old car have positive and negative sides. However, it should be noted that the disposal of the car in any case seems to be the most profitable measure both from the financial side and from the legal one.

Paperwork

When disposing of a car, the necessary step is paperwork. The owner of the machine will remain its owner until then, until the appropriate government authorities make a transfer for disposal. You can do this in the capital, in each service center that processes used cars. To do this, you need to visit the traffic police and issue a certificate stating that the car will be disposed of soon and its activity is not implied in the future.

After completing the necessary steps, you will receive the necessary documents, including a certificate confirming the decision of the owner of the machine to dispose of it in the service center. Title will be in the police.
