But fashion does not stand still. What was perceived only as belonging to a certain group yesterday, today is style. A great example is punk style. Not so long ago, back in the 70s of the last century, punks were a wide movement, a subculture, formed in contrast to the popular hippies.

The struggle for peace is, of course, worthwhile, but it somehow quickly bored the youth. People wanted something more outspoken, provocative, something completely different.
