Bugatti Veyron Supersport - beyond perfection!

Once upon a time, a thousandth herd seemed an unattainable goal, the same improved version of the elite and already cult cult Bugatti Veyron Supersport surpassed the 1200 hp mark. This is just fantastic!

Today, the Bugatti Veyron Supersport is the fastest production car designed for driving on ordinary roads. On a track in Germany, test pilot Pierre-Henri Rafanel proved that this car can reach a speed of 431.07 km / h (an average of two runs). The dynamics of acceleration of the car is also impressive - 2.5 s to 100 km / h! To achieve this result, many elements of the body compared to the standard version are facilitated by the maximum use of carbon fiber, composite materials, light alloys. This, together with an increase in aerodynamic properties, made it possible, despite greater power (more massive turbochargers installed), to reduce the weight of the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport by 50 kg compared to the base model, and even reduce fuel consumption to 23 liters per 100 km.

The body is made entirely of carbon fiber, the rear frame is made of stainless steel, the front frame is made of composite materials, which allows achieving maximum balance in any situation. The Bugatti Veyron Supersport body is a one-piece monocoque, thanks to this design it has high torsional rigidity, which means good indicators of passive safety. The car has its roof, front bumper and rear diffuser updated, the number of exhaust pipes is reduced by increasing the efficiency of their work.

For safety, the maximum speed of the Bugatti Veyron Supersport is electronically limited to 415 km / h. Driving safely at high speeds is only possible with special tires that were used in record races at a training ground in Germany. However, regular regular, very wide tires from Michelin, designed specifically for this supercar, and a well-tuned electronically-controlled all-wheel drive 7-speed dual-clutch transmission can withstand lateral acceleration up to 1.45 g in corners, while braking, keeping the car from slipping . A considerable merit in this and the wheel stability control system.

The brake system consists of radially ventilated discs made of composite (carbon plus reinforcement with silicon carbide), it has monoblock brake calipers made of lightweight aluminum alloy. Wheel rims are made of forged alloy. One of the features of the car is the relative comfort of control compared to other supercars - the stiffness of the course and the ultra-sharp reaction to steering turns are smoothed out.

In principle, this car can be called a successful image promotion, rather than a commercial project. It is planned to release only 30 copies of the Supersport version, all in all, taking into account the updated base version of the Bugatti Veyron 2013, 300 cars will be produced, and their manufacturer, VW, does not plan to increase the quota. This car is more likely a symbol of the technical capabilities of the concern, so there cannot be many such cars. And the price of a charged Veyron is considerable - more than 2 million euros. And after the completion of the production of a car, it will most likely only grow every year, giving more and more exclusivity to this unique work of technical thought.
