Behind 5 years of study at a university that has already become a native, sometimes difficult, and often fun and unobtrusive mastery of the skills of the chosen profession, and now the last frontier is looming - defense of a diploma. The speech that you must read at the same time baffles both notorious idlers and potential graduate students. In fact, in the allotted 5-10 minutes you should briefly, but fully and profitably cover your thesis so that the commission understands what is being discussed, but does not go into complicated details even for you. There are two directly opposite ways of writing a diploma defense speech . Someone seeks to embed in it the "invisible" and tell in detail all, even the most minor trifles. Others, on the contrary, smooth out all the work with general phrases, right down to the topic, and the commission becomes unclear what the person was doing at all. Of course, both of these approaches are extremes that you should not fall into.
The defense of the diploma must meet a number of very specific requirements:
- Be moderately concise.
- Reflect the topic of work, purpose, objectives, relevance, basic methods of its implementation and results.
- If there is a practical application of your work, this should also be reflected in the report.
In addition, it is important to adhere to a specific pattern and take into account the time frame. The speech for the defense of the diploma has the following exemplary structure:

- Up to 5 minutes of time are allotted to discuss the results with visual aids.
- Conclusions, testing, thanks and closing remarks - 2 minutes.
