An enriched fuel mixture is required to start an internal combustion engine. In order to prepare it in the power system, a starting device is provided. In the classic version, this role is played by the air damper. To start the engine, the throttle valve remains slightly ajar, and the air valve is closed. Now, when the crankshaft rotates when the engine is started, a vacuum is created inside the carburetor, which contributes to the flow of fuel from the nozzles in the main dosing system of the idle system. Equipping the air damper with valves with springs leads to automatic air supply when starting the engine.
As the engine warms up and starts to work stably, the damper is opened. Subsequently, with all engine operating modes, the air damper is completely left open. To control the choke, a manual handle is used, which is located in the cab.
The throttle is controlled in two ways. Either with the handle during engine warming up we fix the required shaft rotation frequency, or with the foot pedal returned by the spring to its original position.

The fact is that, having got rid of mechanical control, the new system allows you to control the operation of the throttle valve not only for a person, but also for electronics, which is much more efficient in this task.

For example, a rather annoying effect is the vibration of the engine in idle mode. Among the reasons that cause it, there may be low-quality gasoline, and poor technical condition of the supports, and candles that have served their term. The throttle plays an important role in the stable operation of the motor, and many factors influence its working condition. A worn engine can itself throw idle channels with oil and soot for crankcase ventilation. A clogged air filter can also cause scale.

To begin with, we check and replace air filters, candles, high-voltage wires. Then we clean the idle channels with a carburetor cleaner. We adjust the idle speed using an electronic controller, as well as a bimetallic plate.
Flushing the throttle often gives fantastic results. The engine, which did not start well and did not produce the required power, gains new strength, runs smoothly and starts, which is called a half-turn.
