Once upon a time there were people. Ordinary, like most of us. Distinguished by their zeal for God. They prayed, tried to live a Christian life. And go to the temple regularly.
At first there was no church "All the Tsaritsa" in Brest. The parish was formed only in 2013. And the parishioners had a dream about the temple in honor of this image. And I wanted to have the icon, consecrated on the relics of Nicholas the Wonderworker. Here is what came of it.
It all started tight
As we said, the parish was formed in 2013. Then there was no temple in people. And it was planned to build the church "All the Tsaritsa" in Brest. Only money is needed for the construction, so they collect it all over the world.
In the meantime, the main temple is not erected, parishioners serve in the temporary.
What is this temporary temple?
Small room with low ceilings. The Church of the Vseitsaritsa in Brest was located in the building of the Brestzhilstroy. This is first, and now the parishioners have their own temporary temple.
The first service was exactly on December 19th. On Nicholas Winter, as they call this holiday in the people. In fact, as you might guess, December 19 is the feast of Nicholas the Wonderworker.
Dreams Come True
On that frosty day, when the first liturgy was served, parishioners had a dream. Icon to them in a temporary temple. Written in Bari and consecrated on the relics of Nicholas the Ugodnichka. Dreaming, but where to get the money? We prayed to the Lord and the Blessed Virgin Mary. They will rule, knowing the desire to come.
And so it happened. Two months later, on the last day of winter, the icon arrived. From Bari itself, and was consecrated. All as they wanted. One good man who bears the name of Nikolai helped in a good deed. These donors have not yet been extinct in the world.
Patronal feast
In August, the first feast day was held in a temporary temple. And none other than Bishop John of Brest visited him. The service was joyful and very beautiful. The bishop was greeted by happy parishioners. Just look at the photo to see the bright faces of Christians.
Bishop John was presented with a loaf, according to the old tradition of meeting dear guests with bread and salt. A festive path of fresh flowers stretched to the entrance to the church "All the Tsaritsa" (in Brest).

Father
Talking about the temple and not mentioning the head priest is dishonest. Moreover, such a rector as father Victor Nikityuk.
Parishioners are very fond of their shepherd. Many call it "Father-Easter" and "Father-love." This middle-aged man with a tired look literally glows, looking at his flock. How much labor he put into creating the temple, only the Lord knows. How many people he feeds and leads to salvation, unknown to us, mere mortals.
One of the parishioners tells an amazing story related to Father Victor. The woman was seriously ill with her sister. Doctors refused her, sending her home to die. Everything was clear, then the woman turned to Father Victor for help. He confessed and communed with the patient, and then began to visit her. And the sister of that parishioner got better. She began to get up, and then she began to walk.
These are the priests still found in Belarusian churches. Want to get to him, then find out the exact schedule of services of the church "All the Tsaritsa" in Brest.
Icon
What kind of icon is this amazing? Which the parishioners so dreamed of.
The icon, called "The Tsaritsa", and in Greek "Pantanassa", has an interesting history. Once a young man entered the cathedral, where she was. He wanted to bow to the image. And just about to kneel, as the face of the Mother of God was illuminated with light. It was as if the young man was pushed, he fell back. Recovering, he immediately went to confession. And he confessed his passion for magic. This man far removed from God. And so the Blessed Virgin Mary indicated to the young man his retreat. He stopped practicing occultism and took the path of correction.
Cancer patients pray in front of the icon "The Tsaritsa". It helps get rid of cancer. The Queen of Heaven does not leave those who ask her to help in the fight against drunkenness, drug addiction, smoking.
