Plumbing paste “Unipak” consists of substances that are acceptable for use in the food industry. These include fatty acids, naturally occurring minerals, paraffin oils and water. Unipak paste is intended for protection against leakage of not only water but also steam. It is used simultaneously with flax (in the form of a fiber or cord for sealing) to seal threaded connections in piping systems with water (cold and hot), as well as steam under low pressure. Unipak paste protects flax from oxidation during operation, decomposition and burnout. Thus, the connection is protected against corrosion. The appearance of rust is prevented by the mineral components that make up the paste.

Using
The first step in applying the paste is to prepare the thread. It must be cleaned of metal chips and dirt. Further along its entire length, a fiber of flax is wound tightly in an even layer. It is necessary to advance in the direction of the thread pitch. Unipak paste is applied in an even, evenly thin layer in the required amount. After some time, the thread is assembled. If there is excess paste, they can easily be removed with a napkin. From this moment you can use the pipeline.
