Since 1966, the Japanese compact car, known as the Toyota Corolla, has been released. This is a very special car. After all, it was she who, in 1974, got into the Guinness Book of Records as the best-selling car in the world. Since then, many Corolla models have been released. And one of them was Toyota Rumion. I would like to tell about her.
Briefly about the model
Toyota Rumion was released in 2007. This model is interesting in that it was built on the platform of the compact second-generation minivan Scion xB. It was supplied to the markets of many countries. Including to Australia, where this car was known as Toyota Rukus. In fact, the production of this compact and attractive minivan continues to this day.
The model is 4210 mm long, 1760 mm wide and about 1630 mm high. The ground clearance for our roads is small (13.5 cm), but Toyota-Corolla-Rumion was not delivered to Russia. Despite the fact that the Toyota-Rumion was made in the back of a minivan, there was no room for a third row of seats. However, this is not surprising if we recall the length of 4.2 meters. But in the second row, 2-3 people can comfortably accommodate. All seats have adjustment mechanisms and can please with the presence of lateral and frontal space for passengers. Safety is provided by 8 airbags, and for comfortable driving, the car was equipped with an on-board computer, climate control, alarm, immobilizer and emergency brake assist.

This is the last thing that I would like to note by attention, talking about a car such as Toyota Rumion. The technical specifications of this machine are impressive. A choice of potential buyers were offered several engines. The 1.8-liter 136-horsepower was very popular. He worked in tandem with a CVT and was installed only under the hoods of all-wheel drive models. It was an economical engine. For 100 kilometers, it consumed only 6.7 liters of fuel in the combined cycle. True, there was another popular unit, but it produced only 110 “horses” with a volume of 1.5 liters. and was placed only under the hood of front-wheel drive versions.
